Lara is 50% done with AI Narratives Lib/E: A History of Imaginative Thinking about Intelligent Machines
I have been doing this as an audiobook to listen while at work. I'm finding the history a little too in depth for what I want. Hoping the second half will be a little more focused.

Lara is starting The Wandering Mind: What Medieval Monks Tell Us About Distraction
I had originally had the physical book of this but thought I'd enjoy it more as an audiobook. Swapped out for the digital audiobook download

Lara is starting Awe: The New Science of Everyday Wonder and How It Can Transform Your Life
About a third of the way through the audiobook version of it. While an interesting topic, I don't think I'll finish it. The book doesn't hold my interest even as a background book at work

Lara is starting What We Found in the Sofa and How it Saved the World
I had downloaded this book as a middle grade book to possibly use as a cross curricular resource in my curriculum. I am about halfway through and it hasn't covered much on the AI front. The story is a bit odd. Will give the story a bit more of a chance before I DNF it.

Lara is starting A Psalm for the Wild-Built (Monk & Robot, #1)
I am about a third of the way through this book as an audiobook from my library. I don't know what it is about the science fiction/fantasy books I've been selecting recently that have been fixated on tea. As a book that is advertised for young adults, the conversation about language choices isn't necessarily one that I want to forewarn other teachers about... on the fence about adding it to my curriculum

Lara is starting Under the Whispering Door
I'm probably somewhere around halfway to two thirds of the way through the book. I probably would have canned it by now if I was reading it as a physical book as opposed to an audiobook. It's trying to be far more philosophical but breaches at a fairly basic level. I got into more interesting discussions in college intro to philosophy and ethics courses than what this book offers. Reasonable background noise book

I feel like this is a very cliche topic of women getting treated like crap by men and I'm going to write something that will hopefully add more to the topic but doesn't. Going to try something else the next few days to determine whether or not I really want to engage with the last 100 pages or so of this book

Lara is finished with Dogtripping: 25 Rescues, 11 Volunteers, And 3 RVs On Our Canine Cross-Country Adventure
Picked this up randomly as a mindless, easy read for the car trip back from Canada and to break up more of my harder, darker books. Read about 130 pages of it, and that will probably be enough.
