i LOVE the detail of rat being a little clumsy with it too. his fingers don't automatically slot in perfectly with shion's cause he's not used to casual, GENUINE intimacy like this. they've really turned a corner and it wasn't because of the kiss really. it was because of the promises they made to each other!!!! god they're so fantastic

i LOVE how many facets of rat's personality keep revealing themselves. as soon as i'm sure he's a softie at heart, he's teasing dogkeeper and threatening to rip out her throat. i wonder if part of the reason why he got particularly rough/cruel in this scene was bc it came right after he thought to himself that he didn't want to lose shion.... he's proving to himself that he hasn't gone soft

i LOVE how everything about this duo so far has led me to believe that shion will be the one that is feminized/androgynous (cause there's always one in bl let's be honest) but NO here we have rat in a wig, singing on stage looking absolutely BEAUTIFUL. every time i think this duo will be trope-y, they find a way to subvert expectations. they both have so much depth and balance already and it's only volume 3!!!!!!
