Actually really enjoying this (or a book that's been on my physical tbr shelf. Those usually don't have a good success rate I'm finding.)

Yeah I know that the characters name is Mop-eh but my mind still reads it as Mop.

I really wish the restoration section of this book went deeper. Yes eating well, exercising, sleeping ect. Are all good and we all need a reminder once and a while. But what about restoring a soul that has done all of those things and still doesn't feel peace or rest? What if those become an avenue to become a doer and not a liver? What about something deeper?

Some of the advice is nice and there are things I'm writing down. But I do agree that a lot of this is family/marriage focused and rather surface level reminders.

The pacing in this one is so smoothe. It's easy to binge and that's exactly what I need right now.

This book doesn't know what it wants to be. There's desiccated wilderness, people sick with some disease that makes them The Last of Us like, but also still functioning modern towns in fragments of London, but it also feels like no specific time period at all, there's some weird religious stuff, and also some Xmen psych hospital powers stuff. Just not my vibe and also what vibe is it going for?
I don't know.

This is the part of the show where Jaime tries a bunch of different books until she finds one that actually grips her and pulls her out of this stupid reading slump

I'm going to pop around this book and probably not read the whole thing but it is good to have for reference

Speeding through this. Liking the fact that the older characters are being worked in.

Another Backlist Book for 2025. This series has been on my TBR for a while.

This has been on my TBR for ages. I wanted to read it before I went to college but tried to digitally once and couldn't get into it. It may actually be more funny now that I've been through college. But I haven't had a long GN series to sink into since Lumberjanes ended so I'm hoping this is it.

Surprisingly intrigued by this and find myself coming back to it

Girl, you absolutely did not give Ivy enough time. You went straight from "Hi roomie!" to "I'm eternal and I'm not joking." Maybe we give Ivy some more time and see how that goes, huh? Jeez.

This is set in NC! How fun.

Got this from the library and giving it a whirl as my next physical read. Think I'll be more disappointed by books I read physically, since it takes me more time and effort to read them nowadays. But I want to get back into the habit of it and redevelop the focus required for it.

Liking the tone of this :) Much needed change from Recency Era
