I know it's kind of spoilers but table of who in the main timeline is who in the old timeline would be so helpful. Some people, like Eve and Nells mom, are the same. But I'm a little lost with who's who for the other cartographers thanks to their nicknames.

This is starting to give me big Secret History vibes

I have been comparing this to Paper Towns and I just now realized that they are based on the same town, Agloe NY. But this is wayyy better and now we got some magical realism happening.
This book definitely takes its time getting places but it is well worth it.

I am putting it out there that Swan is either working against Nell the whole time or he's going to flip on her. We'll see if I'm right.

Really loving this. It is a lot more about grief of an astranged parent than I have seen other reviews talk about. So heads up for that. But the story is super interesting, the different perspectives are cool, the audiobook is well done and I still love the writing.

Really liking this so far. Love the narrator for the audiobook and the writing. I've had the Book of M on my shelf for years and I'm hoping this author becomes a new favorite.
Will say that the beginning was a little triggering for me. My dad also died alone and his death was originally deemed a fall accident. The whole description of the police and the body was a lot and I had to skip through some of it.

It was at this point where she considered the following:
1. Is this going to be like the Starless Sea where I have no idea what's going on in the end
2. Did we just enter the last episode of Loki?
3. I definitely do not have enough brain power to understand what is happening right now

SO stoked for this one! Another from my most anticipated list. Hoping I love it as much as Amari, which it's being compared to. Already dig the cover.

Oh no. I just looked at the star spread for this book and quickly realized I'm gonna be the odd one out 😳

I'm nearly half way through this and it is doing nothing for me. Absolutely nothing. It is sooo slow and this lady has been on her book tour for what feels like millenia.
The whole violin magical realism has been all of .01% of this story so far.
I'm just so glad I didn't auto buy this because I think it's gonna be a 2 star.

Just got the audio book over Libby and I'm very excited about the multiple narrators. But am I the only one who didn't realize that this was so short?

There are some loose ends that Ima need wrapped up soon if I'm going to give it a 4 or 5.

I can tell I'm really going to like this. Also loving the multiple audiobook narrators!

So this isn't a fantasy, but I really enjoyed The Unteachables and in looking back at Korman's backlog, I realized he wrote the no dead dogs book I read as a kid and remember enjoying. Hoping this does it for me.

This book is definitely not what I was expecting and it also isn't messing around. It really throws a lot at you right at the beginning.

I apparently studied the same English theories that Haig did and can confirm they are some intentionally obtuse BS.

Ah yes. There is Fox's dynamic/tragic backstory.
Glad we got something to give him more dimension.

Fox seems pretty one dimensional, but they are cute and steamy.

REALLY hoping this is good. The first book was one of my favorites of last year and my record is miserable for this year.

I can not believe that it only took her sister telling her to "just do it" for Quinn's whole mindset to change and now she's ready for a relationship.
I'm ready for this to end pronto.

I'm sorry Quinn but WHAT DID YOU THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN?

At this point I need a gif or something specifically for the point in romance books during the last act where there is an unnecessary conflict before everything works out in the end. Would love a book where this isn't the case.

I 👏 hate 👏 the👏 miscommunication👏 trope 👏so much 👏

The first time I heard someone else with OCD say they checked their doors over and over again growing up was two years ago and I cried. This is the second time and it's in this book. And I so desperately wish I had even just this page to give to my younger self to tell her she isn't alone.

It feels a little bit like Solomon is trying to shove a bunch of quirky character traits into these characters all at once. It doesn't feel as fluid as I'd like it to. Although I am really excited for the OCD representation.

Really excited to read this one! Love RLS's writing.
