Sometimes you want adventure books. Sometimes you go on vacation in a very depressing small town to visit your elderly Grandmother and after listening to how everyone is dead or dying, how everyone's weight is everyone else's issue, and so, so many issues you have to remind yourself are not your monkies, you **need** a romcom to greet you at the end of the day.

Yeahhhh!! I ship them hard-core.

So I'ma need the dad pig's legacy to be fixed because the whole town calling him crazy is making me wanna put this down already

Not a fan of this book already calling the dad who committed suicide "Crazy."

Really really loving this. Frowley is a whole mood. I thought it was a standalone, but just discovered it was a series, and I'm gonna be big mad if I fall in love with this and the sequel never comes.

Because I have porous boundaries and my therapist recommended it. So far, love how clear and applicable it is.

I don't know it the book is going to come right out and say what Tanya is dealing with but it sounds like POTS to me.

One of my MARotY (Most Anticipated Reads/Releases of the Year). I think I've actually had this on my list for a few years. Really hoping it doesn't let me down.

I am in a mood to consume a ton of books in rapid succession but keep putting books down instead. Hopefully this one sticks.

I've had such a mediocre reading year that part of me feels like I should stop reading books when it feels like I'm either not going to like them, or even now, when I think that I'll just give them a three star. I also don't want to keep picking up and putting down a ton of books until I find one that I think could be a five-star read and end up with a bunch of partially red books.

I'm really hoping that these stories interconnect in a more generational way because I'm getting the feeling this is mostly a slice of life story and I don't know if that's what I'm in the mood for right now.
