Realizing that I probably should have read the first one first but they weren't labeled on Scribd. This is a ton of fun though!

Didn't get any festive reading done last year and didn't watch a ton of movies. Trying to change that this year!

I tried Scribd once in 2020 and got so frustrated because after two audiobooks, all the ones I wanted to read where blocked till the next pay period.
Idk if they chanced their strategy, or if I'm just getting luckily, but I've been using it a TON this year and 100% think it's worth it.

Feel like I was to soak in Irregular Witches for a bit longer but this has also been on my most anticipated list all year so I'm diving in.

The way this book weaves between humor, romance, and sincere explorations of universal struggles is masterful and beautiful and I love this so much.

I'm really really loving this. It's so cozy and I love the tutor and girls dynamic. May be a new trope I look for. Reminds me of Nanny McPhee and House in the Cerulean Sea.

Put this on hold during Halloween season and it just came in. Already like the writing style/voice.

As an adult, not a huge fan of the fat shaming.

These kids may be delinquent but this time through, it also sounds like they also maybe be a little neurodivergent 🤣 Not like they have adults around to test that but the whole "we didn't start the fire with cigarettes. We started it with lighter fluid!" Really screams a little bit of the tism.

Time for my yearly reread of this absolute gem! Really need the nostalgia and laughs this year.

Can we just get the names out of the way. Abriella and Jazzamine?

This promises to be an upbeat read and I need that in my life rn.

Realized out of the three RLS books I've read, I liked the first one, severely disliked the second and DNFed the third. Not a great track record.

DNFing at this point. Need something that isn't this or a romance.

Major trigger warnings for drug addiction/older brother addict/relapse and rehab

This part with Lucy is my favorite part of the book so far. I like the way this relationship has redeveloped and unfolded. I like that there is more to her than Barrett originally thought. People are like that IRL.
Also the "We weren't our best selves in highschool." Oophf. My heart.

It feels like RLS realized we needed romantic development for the MCs and made a pivot from the rest of the plot to make that happen. Not the smoothest transition.
Also feel like I would like this book a lot more as a movie or short for some reason. Just feel like it would work really well.
