This is a pretty rad science fiction version of Game of Thrones with anthropomorphic animals instead of devious, shades-of-gray humans and planets of species instead of family houses.

Of all the predators in this world, what a horrible way to go at the paws of a giant naked molerat.

Don't sleep on this one because of the cover, concept or name. It's actually very well written and put together. Better than the last Star Wars trilogy already, I can promise you that.

I get why the author is comparing Snuka and Nancy's story to the Chappaquiddick tragedy, but to set it up in the foreword that he will be drawing parallels between the two for the duration of the book seems like a pretty big waste of time for any other reason but sensationalism. Scandals are sexy. We all know it, though we try to deny it. But there's more than enough for this case to stand on its own merits.
