Oh, no! I am so 😡 at some characters now.

I was scared of rereading this because of the cat incident, but actually it was good that I did.

I have a very hard time caring for these characters... They are so distant. I am glad I'm listening to this book because I have no idea how I'd feel reading the podcast chapters 🤭

Needed a distraction from real life.

Intriguing so far, although hard to get into it, but that's to be expected when there are multiple povs

It's hard to get used to just one POV 🤣. And I have so many ideas where this could go although I would love some twist like She Who Was No More.

Intrigued so far. Different than other books from Macmillan.

Definitely better than the other book by Burke that I read recently (The Wife). At least we don't get all the surprises in the last few pages. it's more suspenseful, more interesting.

There is a point where it associates an issue more with men, which is okay and it does say some women might have that too, but then it continues to address the reader as if it is a man and that made it hard for me to learn or read. I would've appreciates a neutral approach (let's not assume the gender of the reader pls - is doesn't do that, it's only for a few paragraphs but still).

It is so bad that I enjoy it. And in its defense, there are books out there written even more poorly than this one.

Just started it for an online book club, but I have to admit it is enjoyable so far, although slightly annoying.

Bitting my nails!

Very easy read and interesting, but nowhere near ar exciting or entertaining as the reviews make it up to be.

It does feel a little bit... unreal. What I mean is that it's kinda hard to believe all these things happen to someone who was described a lot differently and all that jazz. It reads like someone's fantasy basically. Like if life had no limitations, what would you like your life to be like?

I really like the art style, but so far I am not sure why I am reading this, like, there's nothing compelling me - sure, she doesn't have her memory but I feel like I don't have anything to care about...

The writing is flowing. Lovely.

Who needs sleep when you can read this book instead?

Ah, the drama, the past, the nostalgia of an age I did not even experience. These essays are growing on me.
