I did not touch this book for a few days because I can feel it breaking me bit by bit. Each chapter is so short but so impactful. The details are extraordinary. The food, the memories, the scents, the pain...

This book is just dialogue (it's written for audio as main way to tell the story I think) and I absolutely love it! It's amazing how you get to know the characters even without having access to their inner monologues.

OMG! OMG! This is so cute and so fun and I don't know what the author drinks but all her books and characters make me want to turn my life into a rom com and be a better human being!

I need to talk about this book who someone who is not familiar with the sexy TV series The Tudors and is not obsessed with Anne Boleyn, because I really want to know if I am really into a book that is so bloody dry and distant, or I am just having sexy dreams with Anne Boleyn, Natalie Dormer and Jonathan Rhys Meyers and that's why I am into this book.

I feel like I only understand what's going on after I stop reading, not while I am reading it. Am I the only one? So slow, so dry, yet just as entertaining as reality tv :)))

Well, I dreamed about this - I mean about the Tudor court and Jonathan Rhys Meyers which makes this either a sign to continue reading Wolf Hall or to rewatch The Tudors.

I am in! I want to know what these guys are up to and how they unravel and what happens and I just bloody met them.

It's out!!! I was excited for this day since I devoured Cara Bastone's other novels for audio and rated all five stars in February!

Oh, no! I didn't realize I read something else from Jade West that I did not enjoy - her dirty spicy scenes are okay, but the plot, oh, no, what is this author doing with the plot? It is so fucking boring and I am worried about some things. And then we have a sunshine-grumpy dynamic which I absolutely love only Rick is the sunshine, Carl the grumpy, and Katie is just... what are you doing here, girl? She's pointless.

The writing is so gentle in this one. The characters too. These kids just need hugs!

Cold and distant. But not bad per se.

I am making progress. I adore his chapters, I hate hers. Maybe it's me, maybe I'm the problem.

Just praise and love for this woman.

How can I be bored but intrigued at the same time? I am in for the drama and the history, but the writing style is making it hard for me to like.
