I am sorry, but I am almost halfway through and nothing much happened. They act like two teenagers and they are supposed to be close to their 30s. Ugh! Plus I am bored. There is nothing wicked about this baron!

I am in a spicy novel reading slump! So I just might start 100 books until I find out that catches me.

I feel like someone is telling me this story with all these weird things happening and nobody bats an eye like it's a normal Tuesday and not ghosts teaching your grandson old manuscripts or whatever.

Nothing and everything.

I think what this book got going for her is the lenght... it's so long that I am getting attached to the characters and dislike them less. It's like I am forced to spend more time with them.

I am 73% in and I found out why they are such big enemies that might destroy her father's political career! IT'S A STUPID THING THAT HAPPENED IN COLLEGE - mind you, these men are in their 50s now. You have got to be kidding me! The writing is bad and just recycled "I burn for you" and phrases that would be hot if the characters would have an ounce of personality. Ugh!

But then there's this stupid idea - why is the MMC her daddy's enemy? Also after you read daddy kink books calling a father daddy feels very very weird but that's just me. It's a very short book, I am basically flying through it and I am not DNFing at 50% because I want to know why the enemy thing. Even though all characters are cardboard and have no personality and the spicy scenes are boring and not hot at all.

Let me tell you about another free spicy book I get from kindle because it seems to have only 4 or 5 star reviews. WTF is this bullshit? I was 30% in and I was considering DNFing because it clearly does not have an editor (or a good one) because the FMC just showered twice in a matter of 4 hours or less for no reason othern than poor writing.

TikTok made me do it again. Nathan is a sweetheart, with that I can agree, but Stassie is annoying and I don't understand why he likes her. Anyway, I need to remind myself constantly that they are in college - although why are these athletes drinking so much during season? That makes no sense!

I think the most annoying thing is that for a psychologist, our main character seems to be very bad at her job! Anyway, I guess the lesson is that psychologists are humans too or whatever.

I am bored but also intrigued? I feel like the story is a little bit all over the place.

Finally going somewhere. The anxiety is nice but... but I don't really care about these characters.

At least this time TikTok did not make me do it - or maybe it did. I saw the book on TikTok but I only started reading it after I got a video with Vasilisa and Valeriy on my fyp and the intimacy between them skating is so amazing that I need a skating romance! But I might not like the main character and the writing, but I am just one chapter in so... I'll hold my judgement for now.

I cannot stop reading, sorry. But the other Dracula novel I will read in the Daily fashion!
