I feel like the book suffers a bit from great cliffhanger and then boring inside :)))

Okay, it's not the narrator the reason why I don't like the main character - it's the fact that she feels so empty and so... flat. It's the writing, the predictability, the cliche... the everything. So sad that I do not enjoy this because the cover is so lovely!

Hmm, good question - is it ethical to pretend to be someone else at public events if they pay you to be them?

While I really like to see what the Scoobies are up to without Buffy, I admit the art sometimes pulls me out of my experience - especially when it takes me a while to realize who the character is!

Ugh, I really want to like our lead but I just don't and I cannot tell why... Plus the fact that she fell in love from one page to the other, like, it feels so unnatural. IDK. I really want to like her TToTT and care about her but I just don't.

Well the 2nd issue did pretty much nothing.

I am excited for the next issue because new characters... but... but sometime the art in some panels is really really really not my jam.

OMG SPIKE ADVENTURES! Now I understand why with the next volume the series will be renamed Angel + Spike because I LOVE SPIKE!

Me likey the art, our leads had their first meeting which was cute - so meet cute? well, not really meet cute because our boy knew what he was doing!

Lovely first issue - I am also quite nostalgic because Buffy means a lot to me... I watched it when I was in kindergarten which is not really a show for a 5 y/o but parents were working all the time and it was on TV at 2-3PM. We also played it in kindergarten and I was slaying the boys as they were vampires and running around the courtyard. And then Willow happened. So yeah, nostalgia!

I do find the main lead quite annoying, I hope I won't anymore by the end of the book :)))

OH NO! Why am I so invested? And I have so many mixed feelings like I am so worried!

How is the character I relate the most with Murderbot?

I am intrigued and ready for some fun!
