The characters are petty; sometimes it works (banter) other times it’s irritating.

I love a good character-driven novel. I love a slow burn. But it doesn’t feel like things are progressing or ratcheting up. Instead, it feels a lot like being on a hamster wheel.

Authors: I desperately need you to ask yourselves if you’ve **really** ~truly~ spent enough time proving why your two main characters fall for one another.

If your character’s first admission of how they feel is met with “HUHH??? WHY?? PARDON??” on the part of the reader—I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this—you’ve made a fatal error.

The FMC is rather insufferable. Her worst trait imo?
