Writing is honestly a little choppy. Sometimes it has a very beautiful, fairytale nature to it. Sometimes it sloppily repeats the same phrase or jumps too widely between disparate concepts.
But it's also nowhere near to hitting its stride so I'm still interested to see where this goes.

Fun and interesting so far, but not written very narratively so I think I'll be treating these like short stories and only read a little at a time.

I just ranted about sanderson and my thoughts on his body of work for longer than I spent actually reading this novel, so I'm not sure I'm really in the headspace to read it right now. Or maybe I'll just stop reading anything he puts out in general.
