Quite a lot of weird narrative choices

Things are definitely getting better now that the tournament has started, but it says a lot that the action scenes are my favourite parts (i dont like action)

The writing is inconsistent, and the character work doesn't hold up to Greenbone. The premise of the culture in this world wrt martial arts also feels a bit silly. The competitors to becoming the best warrior in the world are gonna get their fucking ass handed to them when someone with a pointy stick faces them. What then?

Def liking the plot in Sarantium itself more, also as always with GGK every woman is 1 a prostitute or 2 wants to have sex with the mc, but usually both
