As with the previous two, the character work, setting and worldbuilding is great, but the direction of the plot has grown... increasingly sporadic throughout the series. No clue where it's going, and looking back at b1, I don't really know how we got here lmao (maybe because I remember little from b1 and b2, but still)

Experiencing similar problems to the first two books, that I'm growing less tolerant of. The writing feels very "opaque", and doesn't let me "in". Neither into the characters, nor the plot properly. It definitely seems like an intentional choice by the author, but it makes it so that I can't really engage with the book properly.

Enjoying this a lot! Def got hooked faster than with b1. The characters and the setting def suit a series of semi-episodic who-done-its. I suspect there's gonna be a bigger overarching storyline throughout that is slowly cooking up. Curious to see how that's gonna be executed

This one's a bit weird. I like it, and tbh I wanna like it more. There's plenty of fun scenes and some pretty solid character work, but literally every single dramatic and emotional moment is just incredibly rushed. Genuinely bizarre choices she makes w some of these scenes.

Okay so far. Some of the characters are pretty compelling (especially plutarch), but the writing feels a bit rushed and sloppy at parts. I don't think the reaping works as a sequence. Felt a bit too melodramatic/trying to re-capture the reaping of b1. A bit too much maybe.
