So far this book has featured a lady who is half-dragon, a mysterious Nameless God with a hidden agenda, and a female revolutionary battling a creature of Chaos!

My first ever ARC! And it's the sequel to the first great book I read in 2014! I'm so excited, I could dance :D

Whoa...I suspected Melisandre the red priestess might be a little twisted, but until now I didn't realize just how sinister she really is! This is why I go into internet-hibernation whenever I see people talking about the HBO show before I've read the book...

I've noticed the book version of Littlefinger is much smarter than the TV show version...book-Littlefinger knows exactly what will happen if he tries to blackmail Cersei about her dirty little secret!

Arya had killed him with a whisper, and she would kill two more before she was through.

The further I get in this book, the more convinced I become that this entire series will end with Arya Stark ruling over the Seven Kingdoms...AS SHE SHOULD!!!

I guess GRRM heard my earlier complaint about Daenerys not being featured enough in this book, since she's FINALLY gotten another chapter. She's so much stronger and bolder this time around, it's nice to see Daenerys in action again! Apparently this guy agrees...

How is it I'm a third of the way through the book, and Daenerys has only been in one chapter so far?!? Even Theon has had more time in the spotlight, and he's a complete douchebag! C'mon, Mr. Martin, the mother of dragons deserves more book time!

CLEGANE - "I like dogs better than knights. A hound will die for you, but never lie to you. Everyone around you, they're all liars here! I think that's why I like Hodor so much...he may be a man of few words, but at least he's not a liar like just about everyone else in this book!

LITTLEFINGER - "The king is fighting hares with a crossbow. The hares are winning!" Good Grief...is there ANYTHING Joffrey can actually do right...besides suck?!?
