I must agree with my good friend Inge... Wade, you have an army of hired guns trying to kill you...now is NOT the time to keep focusing on flirting with Art3mis (even if she is an awesome geek girl)!

Lots of 80's references so far...WarGames, Atari, Ghostbusters, Rubix Cube. Still, I'm a little disappointed at how little time has been spent on the greatest 80's pop culture phenomenon of all...I am, of course, referring to... HAIR METAL!!!

Hmmm...it seems Wade is about to win this level a little too easily, I wonder if we're about to see a reference to the most infamous "WAA-WAA-WAAAA" video-game moment ever!

Starting my first buddy read with the wonderful and amazing Inge today! It was very considerate of New England to snow me in with a blizzard so I could get a little extra reading time in today! ;)

The first book in this series was a lot of fun! I'm so exciting to be starting Book 2 of the "Tales of the Ketty Jay" series now! :D

Sometimes it can seem like true heroes only exist in novels. But then we look around and remember that real-life often gives us heroes too...

I didn't get any reading done yesterday, as I was battling the flu! :( (Spoiler alert, the flu won!) I'm doing a little better today, so I'll try cracking a book open!

Up until now, I thought Osmond was the creepiest villain in this book by far, but his Twinner may be even more horrifying. The fact that the Twinner never stops smiling while ruining people's lives just makes him that much more unsettling...

I know the feeling...I wouldn't be surprised if the next chapter features a dinosaur playing jump-rope!

Such a horrible tragedy what happened in France yesterday :'( Sending prayers and healing wishes to all those affected by the unforgivable attack on the Charlie Hedbo office! Showing support for everybody's freedom of expression!

This book has so many facets, it's hard to pick a shelf for it. It's a horror story...but it's also a fantasy novel...and a thriller...with a little bit of mystery...
The best way I can describe it is to say that so far, this book is...AWESOME! :D

This book is special to me because it was a Christmas present from the lovely and amazing Branwen! Sometimes we get distracted by the darker side of GoodReads, but let's not forget that there are many wonderful people here too. Book buddies for life Branwen! :)

The "angelic" killer in this book reminds me of Helena from "Orphan Black". Except he doesn't have Helena's jello obsession!

World War I is now being fought between space soldiers and Mecha Native Americans?!? I'm loving how the Dimensionauts keep traveling through these alternate histories!
