I hope this is going to be better than this super boring Victoria Bergman series...

Even though there were some (minor) things that bothered me a bit because they didn't feel 100% consistent with the series I have to say that I really enjoyed this book once the story gathered pace and all in all Lagercrantz did a surprisingly good job.

To be honest I had hoped that this Body Farm setting would be a bit more interesting, right now it feels like it barely matters...

Oooh, pretty exciting new development! I wonder if Stieg Larsson was responsible for this or if it was Lagercrantz's own idea :D

I get the impression that Lagercrantz tends to simplify background information from the original trilogy and I'm undecided if this is a good or bad thing. It makes understanding easier for new readers but as a fan of the series it always feels a bit like sloppy research. Though I might be unfair towards Lagercrantz and he's maybe just trying to make it his own story by adding more action than Larsson used to do.

The plot reminds me slightly of "Mercury Rising" right now and the more frequent appearances of Mikael and Lisbeth definitely help to establish some of the original Millennium feeling

It's entertaining, but I'm not getting the real Millennium vibes yet, probably because Lisbeth and Mikael didn't have a lot of appearances so far...

I haven't read the blurb. I have no idea what the story is about. I haven't seen a single rating. I haven't read a single review. I haven't read a single comment about this book. And I'm so happy right now that I can dive completely blind in a book like this.

Oooh, a reference to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"! This book is really giving its best to please me :D

Let's state the facts: So far we had a prologue at a boarding school, magic, a secret Library organization, dangerous book-acquiring missions, conspiracies, a female protagonist that loves books, alternate worlds, a steampunk London AND dragons have been mentioned. I'm not sure if I can take so much awesomeness in only one book :D

This was not at all what I expected but it was SO much better than I thought. The plot is full of twists and turns, the characters are great, the thefts are hilarious and then all this bloody madness towards the end - LOVED IT.

Working as a spy for a magical library with the mission to acquire unique books in dangerous undercover missions - WHERE CAN I APPLY FOR THIS JOB??

Just spent a whole hour reading something so casual as Locke trying to steal a fine suit - and it was so awesome! :D

In my opinion the main plot could get a little more attention but those little theft stories are really hilarious :D

Even though there were dinosaurs in it I just can't get myself to give more than 3 stars to this book. It was such an exhausting read, I wasn't really interested in the story and the dinosaur part was also a bit disappointing. I'm going back to Jurassic Park where the real fun is :D

Dear Mr. Milán, I have learned ALL the dinosaur names by heart as a 6-year-old and still remember them, so why did you give them all these annoying nicknames that no one can tell apart? Just call it Protoceratops and I know what it looks like, but "Gordito" or "Fatty"? What the actual fuck...

I'm asking myself more and more if I would be interested in the story if there weren't dinosaurs in it. I'm afraid the answer might be "No"...

#ReadTheGirl - So Mikael Blomkvist has now officially slept with every female (and still living) character in this story except his sister, but there are still 7 hours left, so this is probably going to happen too...

Why does the writing style have to be so complicated? It's so exhausting and I always grow tired after a few pages and have to read paragraphs all over again -.-

Hmm, somehow dinosaurs aren't that exciting anymore when they are tamed and just used as better horses...
