It scares me a bit that I can totally relate to grumpy and sarcastic Ove being annoyed by all the people around him :D

It still feels like I haven't really arrived in the story yet, I find it so difficult to tell apart the different times...

I really hope Tsokos didn't spend too much time with Mr. Fitzek. Right now I wish he would concentrate on just one case and not come up with a new spectacular case every 30 minutes…

I find it so difficult to rate this book: It's annoying that Deaver always exaggerates with the ridiculous amount of plot twists towards the end and especially that no matter how many surprises there are, LINCOLN ALWAYS KNEW IT. But if you judge this book as a standalone I think it's still pretty exciting, even though the story was really a bit far-fetched…

A Sherlock Holmes story with pirates – it for sure wasn't the detective's greatest challenge but the story was still fun though. Also I liked the afterword where the author talked about the writing process of this novella and the links to "Devil's Cape".

I FREAKING KNEW IT! Now I'm both excited and disappointed. Excited because my theory was right but disappointed because Deaver is doing the same thing over and over again so that the unpredictable becomes quite predictable...

I'm pretty sure I know who the unsub is. Not because I have any solid piece of evidence but just because it's the least suspicious character so far - and Deaver ALWAYS does that :D

This feels a bit like a wicked mix of "More than this" and "13 reasons why" so far. I really like books where you have no idea what's going on.

I really liked the second half, but the first 150 pages were a bit lame. Overall it was also a bit predictable but I definitely want to read the sequel some day.

The second half is much more interesting than the first one even though there still hasn't been any real superhero action

There was a short story in which they cancelled the Frankfurt book fair. That was the creepiest thing I've ever read.

I like the idea that this story is not about superheroes themselves but about the daughter of two famous heroes who has to deal with their parents' fame but the story itself could be a bit more exciting

Not sure yet if I like it or not, it all feels a bit random and I haven't really found out what the plot is so far.

Good one! Guess I found another crime series I need to follow – as if there weren't already enough…^^

Seeing them putting the pieces of the puzzle together is pretty exciting right now!

I would say Locke and Jean are pretty much fucked again :D But I'm already looking forward to their revenge ^^

I'm very excited about the possible connection to the very first Lincoln Rhyme mystery!

I really like how detailed they investigate every little piece of evidence and there are so many unexplainable things that I'm already very curious about the conclusion

Interesting case so far, I like puzzles :D

The author is writing about everything but the murder case itself and it's just so annoying...

This book is weird. The not-so-good kind of weird.

I think I liked this even more than "Mr. Mercedes". Great story, great characters – please write more crime novels, Mr. King!
