Half the time I have no idea what they are talking about, so maybe that's the Game of Thrones part of the book ^^

Not the worst idea to start this with a nice dinosaur battle but I have to admit that I find it a bit difficult to read so far with the language mix and all the different names…

Just give me some cool dinosaur action and I'm happy

Please tell me that there is going to be a sequel because there were not enough answers and I want more of this! (The ending makes me quite optimistic that the story is not over yet^^)

Only 10 pages left but I'm just too tired to read a single more sentence and I really want to enjoy the finale fully conscious^^

This is the first Chuck Wendig novel that leaves me disappointed :/

Dear Chuck Wendig, no German company would ever name itself "Unterirdisch Elektrizitätssystem", that's so wrong in so many ways...

Mind = blown.

This is extremely addictive. And I love the characters and their sarcasm :D

So how does the genius with the eidetic memory spend a movie night? He scrolls back in his brain over all the movies he's ever seen, picks one, closes his eyes and watches it in his mind all over again :D (Though I guess he didn't see a lot of good movies in his life if he decided to watch "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" a second time, but at least yay for the Marvel passion^^)

Game of Thrones reference on page 1, Harry Potter reference on page 10 - this one is starting pretty early with the awesomeness! (And the best thing about it: Cline's just drops them without pointing out where the references are actually coming from. If you have to explain a reference it's not a good reference!)

Woah, I didn't expect THAT! Great ending, gripping story and a depressing atmosphere - definitely worth reading!

I hate so say it but out of all the Chuck Wendig books I've read this is probably going to be my least favorite one, I'm really missing a cool and unique character like Miriam Black, Mookie Pearl or Atlanta Burns and the plot is quite chaotic…

Show me more of Cambodia and not only these mine fields! When I get to visit such an exotic country in a book then I also want to learn something about it, so give me more background information, please!

This book would have only half the number of pages if Stieg Larsson wouldn't tell every little detail about the sex life of his characters…^^

Okay, I'm hooked.

This could get interesting although I sense that the big secret might not be worth the buzz. But we'll see…

Maybe I won't be able to concentrate on the content because the (beach) cover feels like sandpaper and I'm stroking it all the time :D

#ReadTheGirl - While I know "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" almost by heart I can barely remember what happened in the sequels, so this is almost like discovering a new book for me :D

To be honest the plot was a little ridiculous with all this mystery stuff but I had a lot of fun reading it and it was pretty entertaining all the time. This book has been on my TBR pile for ages but now I definitely want to take a look at the previous books in this series :D

I thought I could bring myself to round the rating up to 4 stars because the last 2 hours were pretty thrilling and the narrator was awesome as usual but the narrative style was so annoyingly chaotic that it was extremely difficult to follow the storyline because the scenes were so badly connected. I've asked myself like a hundred times if I was missing something while reading…

This book really needs to pick up some speed soon

Mmh, not sure how to rate this one. 4 stars seem way too much because there wasn't a lot of story in this first book, but it definitely made me curious about what's going on. I think I'm going with 3 stars and hope that there will be some more action in the sequel...

Thank god there is a sequel BECAUSE I NEED EXPLANATIONS! :D

This is weird. But in a good way, I think. (And it reminds me so much of the movie "Moon"!)
