I want more science and explanations, why are all these experts so slow and clueless? :D

It's very interesting so far but some events happen a bit to fast and I would like to read about them in greater detail

This book makes me want to go whale watching so badly

Very interesting scenario, I wonder how the world will get out of this mess ^^

To be honest I have no idea how to rate this book. I am a bit disappointed by the main plot because it just felt like an average YA dystopia but on the other end I really liked what Marie Lu did with the June/Day relationship - if it weren't for the last 10 pages because this epilogue seems very inconsequential to me.

I'm not sure if it's because or the book or because of the current heat but reading this is a bit tedious right now...

Now give me 'Beastly Bones' already! ;D

It's ok but I was expecting a bit more...

I hope this book picks up some speed now

This is so sick, even for a Chris Carter novel...

How are you supposed to put a book down when every chapter ends with a cliffhanger? :D

Aaaand I'm already hooked again...

It's been a while since I've read my last Chris Carter novel and I hope this one is just as gripping as the first four Robert Hunter mysteries.

The ending was weird but in some way I really like it but there is this little riddle that I'm not able to solve right now and I probably won't get any sleep before I get the solution :D

I like that this story even comes with its own soundtrack ^^ (Whiskey in the jar)

A treasure hunt combined with the constant and very amusing bickering between Jackaby and Abigail - now this is fun! :D

I love surprising endings but I hate it when they come completely out of the blue and without preparation so that the reader had no chance to reach the same conclusion as the MC.

Still not sure what kind of story this is but I think it might get interesting now

Great, now I not only want to watch the TV show but also start a rewatch of Twin Peaks :D

Pretty intense right now - and I have still no idea what's going on :D

I enjoyed the second half way more than the first one but I sometimes missed the dark humor of "I am not a serial killer" - I had definitely more laughs over the first book ^^

The murder case is still a bit lame but I like the protagonist more than in the first book ^^

I'm still not sure if I like the fantasy elements or if the series would be better without them

I got what I wanted: a fast-pace mystery thriller with the expected Templar conspiracy, violent Maya rites and some exciting expedition stuff. Yes, it's a no-brainer, the characters were flat and the plot mostly nonsense, but sometimes I just need books like this.
