Francesca Marciano Yea! Who need more self imposed pressure, right?

Ken There you go! My resolve is to read "regularly" -- a nice, loose word that can change as needed throughout the year.

Jan I still laugh every year I read this. Congratulations, for you meet this goal on J.R.R. Tolkien's birthday!

Ken Good old Tolkien! I remember how enraptured I was reading those four books as a teenager. And now, I wouldn't reread them for a million bucks. No, I prefer keeping them at their lofty heights!

Ha! I pride myself on having read his most famous books before any films or television shows were made. (smile) I discovered Tolkien's books and letters written for his children over the holiday, and they are enchanting me right now. Keep reading. Keep on.

Ken Good for you. Finding books that immediately take to you is a special feeling --- especially in the winter, when the cozy factor comes into play. There's you and Tolkien's family, and then there's the "Who Cares Out There" we call the world (a wolf in sheep's clothing).

Yes.
Enjoy peacefulness and sanity today.
Keep a bit of wonder in there, too.
