"-SPOILERS AHEAD-

Of course. Now Maureen will turn into a vampire too? Because we dont have enough of those running around. This is just so many levels of lets-extend-this-until-the-reader-dies-of-boredom-and-exhaustion."

"Because my version of the book has over 3000 pages, my ebook tells me I am 20% done. My opinion might be biased now, after reading MANY critical reviews last night, but seriously, they make so much sense. There was this one amazing review that said something along the lines of refuting the 'realism' part in the books -- without rape scenes and incest, we wont be able to accept the story as realistic? More later." Jul 15, 2013 04:06AM

Tom Holt
“Mostly I sit at home in the evenings watching the box and hoping that one day I'll evolve into plankton.”
Tom Holt, Barking

F. Scott Fitzgerald
“Tired, tired with nothing, tired with everything, tired with the world’s weight he had never chosen to bear.”
F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Beautiful and Damned

Shannon L. Alder
“There is a difference between saying goodbye and letting go. Goodbye is not permanent. You can meet years later as old friends and share what happened in your life. You can smile and laugh about all the nonsense that you both went through. However, letting go is being okay with never seeing this person ever again…being okay with never knowing how their life turned out…being okay with fifty or more years of silence… being okay with running into that person at a grocery store and having them not acknowledge your presence. This is the part of life that doesn’t sit well with me and never will. It tears my heart in pieces, robs me of gratitude, drains me of anything positive and eats at the faith that holds on. It goes against kindness.”
Shannon L. Alder

Marissa Meyer
“I knew they would kill me when they found out, but…” He struggled for words, releasing a sharp breath. “I think I realized that I would rather die because I betrayed them, than live because I betrayed you.”
Marissa Meyer, Scarlet

Tom Spanbauer
“Weird here is something we aspire to, something we perfect, get degrees in, get awards for.”
Tom Spanbauer, In the City of Shy Hunters
