Charlie said, “What do you want to do? Me and Matt will do as Shaw suggested and pull up behind him. Where will you be?” They past the one-mile marker for the services, and Matt clutched the phone tight. “Keira?”
Good God, really? The "Me and Matt, okay, because the majority of people, myself included, use crap grammar in conversation, and this is one of the prime fuck-up instances. However, even in conversation, past is not a working replacement for passed.
