He knows a guy that runs the World Cup gym. Adrianna moves to start of advancing in her career. Adrianna was expecting the usual coach. He would be be in his 50s, gray hair and balding. She didn't know her coach, Konstantin Kournakova, also known as, Kova, would be a gorgeous thirty-two year old. As Adrianna begins her training with Kova, they soon find out that Adrianna is full of drive and will do anything to accomplish her goals.

Kova is an enigma. He is a dominant, domineering and very aware of the pull Adrianna has on him. When in the gym Kova is a very callous man. He will push his athletes to make them the best they can. Adrianna's drive ignites something in him. Her spirit sparks something in him. They try so hard to deny the attraction they feel for one another, but the harder they fight it, the more intense it becomes and the harder it is to ignore the temptation.

The attraction bond between Kova and Adrianna is explosive. The development is gradual and their affair blossoms and it will mess up their lives because the connection takes them to a deeper level. Kova and Ardianna both know their close and forbidden relationship is wrong and that it could ruin their lives and Kova's career. As much as they push each other away, lines are crossed and boundaries are pushed. The chemistry between the two characters is scorching hot and intense. Knowing that their relationship is forbidden, it makes the story even hotter.

SO, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Adrianna and Kova are sixteen years apart. I love forbidden taboo reads and this age gap did not bother me at all. Just remember this book is a work of fiction, this is not real life. If you cannot handle, do not read this book. There were times, that I forgot Adrianna was so young because she acted much older than she is.

All in all, Balance, was an absolute fantastic read about finding the courage to really go after what your heart desires. Taking chances that could ruin your life are not always easy, but sometimes the risk is worth it. This book is part of trilogy and it ends on a cliffhanger. The story is consuming and you will want to read this book in one setting, which will be hard since it is over six hundred pages, but you will love the ride Lucia Franco takes you on!

I loved every word in this book. It was addicting, captivating, and so disturbing. Yet, I was craving more even when the book ended. Prisoned by Marni Mann is a standalone book about Kyle Lang and Garin Woods. Just a little background on Garin. If you have read Wild Aces you will remember him from that book. He is the general manager for The V Casino and Hotel. Garin's sister was the one who made a "purchase" from Trapper.

Garin and Kyle grew up in the projects in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 'The Heart' is the center of crime activities and poverty. Since they come from broken homes, they try and survive on whatever they can find or steal from people. Garin and Kyle and their friend, Billy come together and try and make it the best they can in The Heart. Kyle and Garin were finally taking their relationship to the next level until an event happens. Slowly Kyle slowly pushes herself from his life.

After graduation Kyle starts a new life for herself in Florida. She made a promise to herself to never go back to The Heart. But there are certain things that keep her "prisoned". After sixteen years, Kyle's friend passes away and she makes it back home to Atlantic City. There at the funeral she comes in contact with Garin, the one that has always been on her mind. When Kyle and Garin go to a bar after the funeral they pick up like it was old times. After waking up, they find out they have been taken captive to an island and discover they were kidnapped because of secrets of their past.

This book blew my freaking mind. It took me a couple of days to get over my book-hangover. I was still living in the world of Kyle and Garin! Every scene would be led into more questions and doubt. What was going to happen to both Garin and Kyle? I had so many scenarios running through my mind and some were right and wrong, but it never made sense fully until the very last page of the book!

I am a huge fan of Haleigh Lovell’s writing and I am happy to let everyone know that she doesn’t disappoint in The Slam! I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Ender Hemsworth and Adelaide Vikander. Not only did I love Ender and Adelaide but every ot I am a huge fan of Haleigh Lovell’s writing and I am happy to let everyone know that she doesn’t disappoint in The Slam! I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Ender Hemsworth and Adelaide Vikander. Not only did I love Ender and Adelaide but every other character in the book. The humor of this story...the ending…it was perfect and I really can’t wait for the next book to come out! I am dying to see what craziness Adelaide can get herself into!

The Slam can be described in a different ways such as a romantic-comedy with a underlining sports theme. Ender and Endric Hemsworth are the big guys on campus. They are dreamy tennis pros that decided to go to college instead of becoming pro right out of high school. They are having the time of their lives, then a girl from their past starts to live with them and everything that Ender once was used to will be changed forever.

Adelaide Vikander is childhood friends of Ender and Endric as they would come to visit family in Australia. Ender and Endric remember Adelaide as a tomboy but when she comes to live with them, it is not what they remember as their time as children. They always thought Adelaide was a little different and find out she has Asperger’s.

The book is told in Dual Pov, but let me just say that I freaking loved Adelaide! I loved being inside of her mind and knowing what she is thinking. She always had me laughing out loud with her witty comebacks. Adelaide is taken under Ender’s wings to help her adjust to America and the culture. It doesn’t take long that the two to start having romantic feelings for each other.

I was seriously left high and dry with the ending. It was a great ending but I wanted more! I wanted to keep reading about Ender and Adelaide and it makes me excited to know we might get more of the both of them. If we get to read about Endric, I would be completely okay with that too because he sounds like my kind of book boyfriend!

I had a hard time rating this book because reading the first part of the book was a little tough. I was having a hard time connecting with the characters and it seemed a little rushed. I was having a hard time connecting with the characters and it seemed a little rushed. But once you get past the first couple chapters and into part two of the book it really picks up and I enjoyed the book which was why I gave it the leaves I did. I can’t explain too much of the book only because some key twist in the book lead to make one incredible build up but I will say what I can. I do recommend this book so if you can definitely get your hands on this!! Amelia and Justin were the friends at first; having met because of Amelia’s Nanas house being right next door to his family. Growing up Amelia’s Nana raise not just her but him as well and as they got older it was harder and harder for Justin to hide how much he loved Amelia. When a huge secret is revealed, fifteen year old Amelia runs away to live with her father and in doing so ends up breaking Justin’s heart. When Amelia’s Nana passes away years later she finds out that the house her Nana raised them in was going to be split half to her and half to Justin. The two ended on bad terms and hadn’t spoken to one another in a long time and on their first encounter Justin is mean and spiteful while she just takes his angry and snippy comments in stride. Amelia just got out of a relationship with a cheating boyfriend and doesn’t need the instant attraction to Justin; to make matters a little worse Justin brought his girlfriend, Jade, to the house to stay. Amelia and Jade become somewhat friends and one night when Jade gets a call to go back to New York, Justin gets sick and Amelia steps in to take care of him. As much as Justin tries to continue to hate Amelia he knows he can’t and they slowly start to become friends again despite their mutual attraction to one another. When Justin and Jade go to leave, Amelia finds out some life changing information; with their new found friendship Justin is hesitant to leave but Amelia knows that if he stays and doesn’t go away, their attraction will hurt people they love. Flash forward some odd months and the two end up right back at the beach house again both single trying to fight the attraction because neither wants to lose the other but both can’t seem to stay away.
