Carolyn | 2091 comments My review for the historical mystery A Chorus of Innocents by P.F. Chisholm 4★, such an enjoyable series set on the English/Scottish border in the late 16th century.

PattyMacDotComma | 818 comments Popular Aussie news journalist (among other things) Tony Jones has successfully added thriller writer to his "among other things" with a great read, The Twentieth Man. It's based on true Aussie events, but there's plenty of artistic licence making for an exciting novel. Loved it!

Carolyn | 2091 comments I've only read a couple in this series by Carol Wyer, but have enjoyed them including her latest, The Chosen Ones 4★, where DI Robyn Carter is presented with three very different murders with a common link.

Kerri_M | 785 comments Just finished Fatal Mistake by Karen M. Davis. No #3 in a series.

I didn't enjoy this book, mainly because I found most of the characters unbelievable.

Fatal Mistake (Lexie Rogers, #3) by Karen M. Davis ★★

Kerri_M | 785 comments Just finished Comeback by A.A Peter Corris

#37 in his long running Cliff Hardy series, it has been a few years since I have caught up with Cliff. I audiobooked this one, and it was one of the rare instances where the narrator detracted from the book for me. Maybe because I have read so many of this series over the years, and the narrator just didn't sound like the Cliff Hardy in my head.

So I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped, but suspect I would have enjoyed it more if I had read rather than listened.

Comeback (Cliff Hardy, #37) by Peter Corris ★★★
