Just finished Leverage in Death by J.D. Robb #47 in the series, which is pretty incredible when you think about it. By now, we all know what to expect, what we are going to get in a Dallas book, yet I haven't tired of the series.★★★★ for this one
I wonder what she has in mind for #50...

Coffin Road is a pretty grim address, but in this case, it's the only starting point a man with amnesia has in the mystery by Peter May. Outer Hebrides, Scotland! Storms, lighthouses, murder!

Just finished In a House of Lies by Ian Rankin #22 and latest in the Rebus series. Is it the last in the series? Haven't seen anything about #23 as yet, but am hoping that there is one as not quite ready to say goodbye yet. I am torn as to how I would like Rebus to finish. Should he finally get Big Ger? Horribly man that he is, not 100% I want Big Ger to go down... but I am happy that Rebus seems to be enjoying himself in these last books, still playing cat and mouse with him.
I have been reading this series for many years and now I am up to date. It was this series that turned me in to an audio book fan. After listening to an hour or two of James Macpherson, I would find the voice in my head talking in his accent, and since then Scottish and Irish audio books have been my favourites. For me, this series is a solid example that with the right narrator, an audio book version can be better than the written word.
I know the end of the series is coming, and I am sad, it feels like losing an old friend. I guess that's kind of silly.

Enjoyable enough crime novel with some supernatural elements, which I don't usually go for, but which worked out fine. 3.5/5
