I'm reading I am Number 4. I'm not really liking it. But I'll probably start the Dark and Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan tomorrow. I just love the Forest of Hands and Teeth sereis.
I don't know. I guess I'm just not feeling the characters for some reason. I feel all disconnected. But, I can understand why someone else may like it. I guess it's just not for me.I really liked the first two books. I love the writing style of Carrie Ryan, it feels so graceful and lyrical. The books to me also seem so real and scary. To me, they powerfully convey emotions.

i'm reading through the stephanie plum series at the moment. Just about halfway through Hot Six, all because i watched the stephanie plum movie at the beginning of the month. Once i finish the series I'm going after the Black Jack Justice novel by gregg taylor.... so thats august covered.

as an arc for an upcoming ..."I'm liking the descriptions that are prominent throughout the book. However, if you hate constant perspective changes, I'd advise you to stay away. The perspective has probably changed about every chapter. Most of those chapters are short too.

@ Alan, I thought it started a little slow, but really picked up around chapter 3 and was excellent. I'm really looking forward to the next installment.I finished Shadow Prowler last night and started Paradise Lost/Paradise Regained.

Currently I'm reading The Passage by Justin Cronin - finally! I've had it for like 2 years but just haven't gotten around to reading it cos of uni work getting in the way, but now that I've finished uni I'm powering through it :) Loving it so far, about 2/3 of the way through, so exciting!I've juggled multiple books before and I can do it, but I prefer to do one at a time, as I get more involved in it and it takes me less time. If I don't fancy reading the book then I have other stuff I can do, rather than reading.

It also works for who is around. Like I am not too comfy reading erotica around my teen son or inlaws. Plus figure I keep paperbacks in my purse, diaper bag, master bath, main bath, kitchen, laundry room, one under the sofa cushions, one on the table by the loveseat, 2 on my side the bed, 1 on his side (in case I roll to that side), one in my files in the dining room, plus overloaded shelves by the desk....if books were alcohol Id be considered beyond a lush
Oh plus some for each kid (and a sports mag for hubby) in the bathroom, living room, van and bag as well as their rooms - plus I keep one in my van for me as well.... In fact my sister is prone to raid my hiding spots if she runs out of her own books
It can be like an egg hunt esp if I want a certain title and can not remember where it is My husband fusses cuz I am addicted to my local libraries used sales For $3.18 (tax included) I can pack a grocery bags with books off their for sale shelves and take them home. My personal max on paperbacks only is 40 in one baggie. Usually I buy 3 bags and come home with almost 100 books for all of us (hardbacks and oddly shaped kid books take up more room) He in fact banned me from doing that again until I can clear at least one bookshelf shelf (approx 75 books the way I have them in there)

He would love to read more books. He just graduated in May and is doing his clinicals now, so he doesn't have much time to read. However, he made an exception for The Walking Dead - we both watch the show together.
I finished
on Monday night. It was pretty good. It was a murder mystery type book and you don't find out who the killer is until like the last half of the 3rd book.I'm still reading The Walking Dead (when my husband isn't hogging the tablet) and have now moved onto
- which is great so far. I really enjoy the way that this book is being narrated. To answer your question above - it actually isn't so bad. I'm also listening to an audiobook (I live 45 minutes away from work, so it's nice to break up talking on the phone or listening to music) I typically don't juggle so many books at one time, but I'm finding it to be a lot easier than I thought it would be. It probably helps that none of the books are all that similar. One book is about zombies, another about wizards and the audiobook seems to just be a love story so far. Shannan, I don't have a home of my own just yet. But whenever I think of it, I always imagined I would keep books all over the place. Also, I've never been to a library sale. But at all the schools I've attended the library periodically gave away their old books. I loved when that happened, I couldn't resist going through all the boxes just to find out what kind of treasure might be there. Often, I could have done with a larger backpack. ...The concept of collecting all the old books kinda makes me thing of "Looking for Alaska". Have you read that?

The Walking Dead as in the TV show? I've been wondering if that's good. I really enjoy the show.

Yeah, The Walking Dead is based off of the comic books! I really liked the TV show and my coworker lent me the comic books he has. Be careful though, they are a lot more violent and descriptive than the show was.
But if you like the show, I'd definitely recommend checking out the comic books. :) I think they just came out with issue #100 and they are still writing!

I think it's good so far. You should read it if you liked his other books that's what I did after reading the Witch and Wizard Series

Jonathan check out Million Dollar Agent: Brokering the Dream, its a great read by josh flagg star of bravos hit tv show million dollar listing. i finished it finally and i already want to read it again.

I am kinda stumped as to what to read now because I have so many books lined up. I have Under the Dome by STephen King (already started), The Host, by Stephanie Meyer, and The Warlock, by Michael Scott. I just finished The Necromancer, by Michael Scott, it is a fantastic series. The next in line for that series is The Warlock.

Oh that really stinks! My daughter said she loved it. So I am gonna give it go I think. We have a great used book store that we go to. Used to be an Opera house. So there are 3 floors of nothing but books! I love it there. I actually bought The Host there for $3.

today! It was a fantastic book. I was immediately drawn into the story and felt connected to each of the characters. Tomorrow I will start reading
