I have heard good things about Starcrossed
I must confess I decided on The Selection because of the cover! So, I am glad you said they were both good :)

The Selection it is! Thanks Martha :)
I'm just a book away from my target this month. Needed to read 5 books/month in order to meet my 2013 challenge. So now, I plan on reading mangas - Nana, Vol. 1. Gonna read that one. I have a manga challenge for this year too.
How about you guys, are you challenging yourself? How many books you set for yourself to read this year?

It's not bad but it doesn't have many action. Just some talking and fighting between old gods. It's really hard for read 'cause it's very long

I'm currently reading (still) The Odyssey (
) and Nevermore (
. Debating continuing The Hobbit (
). Nevermore was my #1 priority in 2013 and I'm really mad at myself for not reading it yet, so glad I've started. Just as good as Max Ride usually is so far. We've been reading The Odyssey in school for a little over a month now, and I could have been done with it ages ago because it is so good!!! Glad I picked this up. I must admit, I am seriously loving. It has probably only been boring twice, which is a record for a classic book for me (even though I love classics--don't get me wrong)! And it's MUCH older than the other MUCH more boring books. The language makes sense, and can sometimes be just darn funny! I thank Robert Fagles for his masterpiece translation. Never a dull moment in this book, though it is complex!

Have you read Sweet Venom yet??
Julie: No, I have not, but it is on my TBR and I have read her oh.my.gods series and Forgive My Fins, which I LOVED both!!!!!
Martha wrote: "Rachel 14 looks really good! How are you liking it so far?"
So far, so good. :) It's a really slow build but it's done well.
Martha wrote: "Marie wrote: "Pride and Prejudice is one of my all-time FAVS!!! same here!"
I third that!!
Marie wrote: "Julie: No, I have not, but it is on my TBR and I have read her oh.my.gods series and Forgive My Fins, which I LOVED both!!!!!"Just finished Sweet Venom today and it was pretty good. It was a super fast read and told through the pov of three people :) which really added to the story!
Just finished The Hidden Oasis, I enjoyed it, I haven't read an Action/Thriller/Mystery in a long time. Now reading Pandemonium I loved the first book, so I've been looking forward to this one :)
ghhhhhhh guys, any ideas what to read? I just finished ZEN book and I dont know what to read next. should I get more into ZEN or rather something smooth like James Patterson?
I read the summary for the first book and it sounds amazing! How was the first one?! It sounds super cool!

I finished Anna and I'm starting Girl of Nightmares. I absolutely loved Anna! I got to page 56 in Blue Bloods and haven't picked it back up yet. Not a good start in my opinion but I am going to finish it eventually :)
Reading The Odyssey and Shadows Gray (
) (which is AH-MAZING!!!!!!!! Finally reading Nevermore(
) which I've been beating myself up about not reading in 2012, so it was ,y first priority this year. It's crazy awesome, yet crazy bad at the same time. Almost done with The Odyssey, just kind of at the point where the happy ending is occurring. =)
Decided to put downThe Hosthaving a hard time getting into it. Reading Hourglass I'm enjoying this series and picked up The Girl in the Steel Corset
Julie wrote: "Chapter 12 [spoilers removed]"(view spoiler) If it is, then just go on, pick up reading because in my case I was about to give up in that part as well but then I didn't and thank god for that - because after that, everything becomes compelling to read
Julie wrote: "I'm convinced... will keep reading and see how it goes ;) thanks guys!"Have a nice time & keep us posted in case. We'll bump you up and convince you more.
:)
Took me a month to finish it (cause of medical stuff) but I finally finished
And now seeing I'm stuck at home again, I've read a ton of lil novellas on my ereader (though currently reading
) but also polished off
& got
lined up to start today :)

Yep I enjoyed it & for once, the ending was a surprise for me lol I've read so many of JP's books that usually I can guess miles before the ending.

Lol I picked it up again and before I knew it I was on Chapter 22! Starting to pick up nicely :)
I'm reading Eden and it's blowing my mind! I started reading it because there is a paranormal angle to the story but there is so much more going on with this book that every page swipe reveals something new. There's a million tiny stories in one here and what I think is so extraordinary is that I haven't even got halfway through it. Oh and did I mention it's a series? Win Win!!!
