Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments Yeah, it really does... and then when you've completed your masterpiece you have to make sure the formatting is correct for ereaders... and then you have to do it again for the paperback version.

Maybe I should take up golf instead.

They are used to getting their reading material in one of a few familiar formats. If you want them to read you can't be constantly annoying them - it is up to us to make sure, but it isn't easy, mostly because we don't do it so often.

No way around it: professional presentation is required along with so many other rules.

Some people pay formatters and packagers; some of us just grit our teeth and learn each time.

The world has a sport that looks easier: curling.
