And so here it is, my first novel! Yippee!Blurby stuff:
Look at the person sitting just across from you. It doesn't matter whether they’re a loved one, a friend, or a complete stranger.
Now look at their face. Are they happy? Are they sad? Or are they angry? Can you even tell?
How well do you actually know the people closest to you? Have you ever seen the real person that lies just underneath what you see...?
As hinted at in the thread title, this is free to Goodreads group moderators, reviewers and anyone who works for the British NHS. The mods do a sterling job organising things, and this is to thank them for their hard work.
I'm something of a believer in the NHS, but the current UK government seems determined to screw up healthcare in this country, so this is a show of support to the doctors, nurses, surgeons and support staff at the NHS.

I re-uploaded all my books to some torrent/pirate sites today. In the process, I discovered one of my books in another torrent collection! A review of Underneath, but with a difference: it's based entirely on the first 7500 words of the book!Jennifer has a blog setup specifically for this, where she dares authors to submit their book for her 7500 word challenge. Her reviews are quite entertaining, and amusing.

Well, that is interesting. A lot of authors freak if they get a review on only the beginning of their book.I like that blog!
Yeah, at least one author has said that they don't think they like the idea of it.She states that she isn't posting the reviews on Amazon, or anywhere else, and the site itself makes it abundantly clear that only the early stages of the book is being read.
If she keeps it entertaining to read, then I don't think people will her critiques it too seriously.
As a reader, what she is looking at is very important to me.You can tell her that at least one person really likes the idea.
Think I'll bookmark her blog...
