Michael Cargill - 2nd edition of Saying Goodbye to Warsaw

I wrote an article on my thoughts about ebook piracy, and it's up on the Making Connections blog.
In a nutshell, I'm saying that it doesn't bother me if people pirate my books

I'm confused about the price of the laptop. You mention £900 and also £1000.

Just so you're aware, the video at the top of the page containing images of gun-clad soldiers, has nothing to do with me...!

Current WIP:
The story that I'm still working on at the moment is rocking in at a modest 58k words or so. As a comparison, the last book I published was about 50k in total and was at that point the longest thing I'd ever written in my entire life.
So I'm obviously maturing and coming of age, right?
It initially started out as a sort of suspense/thriller thing, but seems to have evolved into some kind of YA story. I've never actually read any YA, so I couldn't actually say for sure, but the main characters are school aged.
I know roughly how it's going to end (that may seem like a strange thing to say, but I had no idea how it would end until I got to about 49k words...!), and there's going to be plenty of tears and laughter by the time it's finished.
For anyone who has read my short story Shelter from Thunder, it's probably similar in tone to that one.
Underneath blog tour:
The lovely modmin ladies in the Making Connections group organised a book tour for me.
It's running for another five days, and the schedule is here - http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
A review:
I'm giving this one its own heading as I like using bold font. It makes me happy.
Think Books awarded Underneath 5 stars, which also made me happy. Yay.

The future, and what comes next:
No idea!
Progress has been quite slow on my WIP so far, although the last week or so has seen an acceleration in the amount of work I've been able to do - having a clear idea of where the story is going helped with that.
Will it be published before Xmas? 98% chance that it won't!
I've been itching to do another WWII-themed story for quite some time, and that is what I'm hoping to tackle once this behemoth is finally done and dusted.
I'm a bit of a WWII nut, and have recently expanded my reading of that era. Some nice (and some not to nice) ideas have cropped up since then.
My thanks go to anyone who has read my work, bothered to read this post, and also to the group modmins!

All proceeds go towards the Dr Barnados charity, and it can be bought in paperback from Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1480210986

Those who are interested (I'm sure there's at least one) will be pleased to know that my latest book is finished!
WAHOO!
Well, sort of finished. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end, but that's it. Now the tortuous job of fine tuning and editing the damn thing starts...
It started out as some kind of thriller/suspense thing, but has somehow turned into what I believe is now a YA tragedy story.

The thing is, I don't know what to do with my spare time now.
Gonna have to find something else to obsess over.

Weeeeeeell, I'm a bit over halfway through the first pass of editing on my current work-in-progress and so far it hasn't been as painful as I thought it would be.
Whether this is because I'm some kind of natural genius who learns a trade quickly, or because my standards are slipping I couldn't really say.
I still haven't decided on a title, nor have I got any real idea about what the cover will be like, so maybe I'm just shoring the pain up for later.
