That book is a "rescued" edition. As far as I know, we are not deleting those yet.

It was listed as "unknown author" & "unknown title", but based on the original title field which was still intact I was able to match the author & title. But since there's no isbn I thought it could be merged with the editions that were complete. Are there still some imports to be done that could add extra data to these books?

This book can be found at: http://openlibrary.org/books/OL770644... and has a distinct ISBN.

My guess is that it should stay, probably being combined with the other.

Is it possible to delete a book (of my own) that hasn't been published yet?

I got a surprising request for a partial & am holding off on self publishing. If nothing comes of it, I'd like to put the book back up. Will that be an issue?

It sounds like the book will be published, either the partial will pan out, or you will self-publish. If the books gets published, then the reviews can be moved/merged with the published version. If we delete it, the current reviews, and everyone who marked it as 'to-read' will be lost. You would have to just hope they remember to re-add it later. In addition, we try not to delete books members have shelved, unless it really doesn't exist (most of the deletions on these threads are actually merges into other editions so there is still something on the person's shelves).

We can (and do) delete books that were planned but then later cancelled. However, this does not seem to be the case for your book.

Hi! This is my first time here, so hopefully I'm doing this right. Somehow I accidentally created 2 listings for the same book and I can't figure out how to take one of them down. The book is Dawn at Birch Crossing. One of the entries has been marked as a "to be read" by someone, but the other listing doesn't have any comments yet, so that's the one I want to take down, but I don't know how to do it. These are 2 distinct editions, each with their own ISBN, published in different years.

It didn't need a super. It only needed merging a separated edition.
