Lu this is a quote from the back of a book. Do you think it counts as a Prophecy? Or is it a premonition? Do you think they are basically the same? Lets me know. Thanks :)

Emma's been having the oddest dreams: visions of herself in past lives—visions that warn her to stay away from Brendan. Or else.

Lauren (Sugar & Snark) | 1262 comments Mod

Don't know if you need a recommendation, but last year I read a mystery novel by Joanne Fluke. She has written a whole series about a woman who owns a bakery and shop and who is baking pies and cookies all the time. The mystery isn't that special but for every dish she makes the recipe is right there in the book. She has written a whole series and all the titles have something to do with food. Maybe something you could use for your task.

Oh wow yes that reminds me, Lauren I have a paperback copy if you are interested: Sugar Cookie Murder (Hannah Swensen, #6) by Joanne Fluke (the recipes are at the back) - oh and of course you better share whatever you make with me!

Lauren (Sugar & Snark) | 1262 comments Mod
I'm good thanks guys. I have a book set in a bakery, my only problem is that all of my baking equipment is already packed away for the move on tuesday but I will make a plan. Maybe I will make my own birthday cake this year :)

How about Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves

message 787: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith Thanks, but my problem isn't that it's hard to find a cover, but that I don't think that anything on my reading schedule will fit, and it might be a while before I have enough time for an extra book. Sigh...

message 788: by Lu (new)

Lu | 12672 comments Mod
Is this maybe on your reading schedule?

The Story and Its Writer An Introduction to Short Fiction by Ann Charters - I think that is tea

message 789: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith Lol, it is on my tbr pile, but it's essentially a textbook with about 1700 pages.

I might just re-read this: The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul by Douglas Adams
It's a fairly quick read and quite funny.

message 790: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith They're a tad weird, but these count for the tea task right?
Snuff Fiction by Robert Rankin Waiting for Godalming by Robert Rankin
