Lauren wrote: "Ah that's where the potential morally objectionable part come in. I download 90% of my books for "free" But I hear you can't read Ebub or Pdf on a kindle which is pretty limiting!"You can read pdf's on Kindle, although it's not ideal. The problem is easily solved though - you just convert the file to mobi using Calibre.
Anyway, isn't the morally objectionable issue downloading what are essentially pirated/unauthorised copies of books?
Yes that is exactly it. Unfortunately I have long been know for my questionable morals in many aspects of my life. (lol) Although I do make a point of legitimately downloading "indie" author. You have draw the line somewhere ;]
Hi Lu finished No. 34
Can I have No. 39 next pls
Also I notice you haven't crossed off No. 31 which I finished a couple of books ago. I just don't want anyone to get confused and try to choose it.

It's my special skill :D
It also works well when you can't find anything else that looks interesting because at least you know a "trashy" romance is usually a very quick read! Then you can move on to more bigger and better things :)

To come back to the ereader discussion I got started: $80 is a good price but still a bit too expensive for my budget right now.
I will let you know when I can buy an e-reader and then all you guys can tell me which is the best to get and I will make a decision then.
In the meantime I have to rely on paper books.

Now before you look for a loophole. It has to a a real place. Paris, Rome etc. Can be a country or a city.

You can however get creative.
Fallenwood and Blackwood might be fictional palces, but there are real cities and towns out there with these names.

Just to confirm that it is a Nebula Award for a Novel (more than 40,000 words) and not for the novella or other options?
Jennifer wrote: "Just to confirm that it is a Nebula Award for a Novel (more than 40,000 words) and not for the novella or other options?"Novellas and short stories are out, as the book has to be at least 150 pages long to count. However, you can use non-fiction. Not sure about graphic novels though.
