Alex or Julian???
I'm going to hope it is because she dumps Julian and gets with Alex so it is not a love triangle! LOLA lot of authors say they don't consider their characters in love triangle but two men and one girl equals a love triangle to me!

Well she said one of them doesn't LOVE Lena. Julian has been with Lena for two weeks. That is not love. Alex, who would have DIED for her, most likely won't stop loving her. Hasn't stopped.
I prefer Julian, not even sure why, i am just that sort of person who almost always goes for the second guy, my thought is that if she still loved Alex so much then how is it that she now loves Julian, i think she has a perfect right to move on and they are both different people now, loads of people are calling Julian weak but thats not true he went through immense pain when his brother was killed, he defied his father by reading those forbidden books, he faught alongside Lena even though he had no training, he went against EVERYTHING he was ever taught and fell in love, then he refused the cure and was brave enough to suffer death rather than give up caring about Lena, just because he wasnt born an invalid doesnt make him any weaker than Alex, i mean come on thats got to be worth something to you lot xxx

Yes. Alex wasn't developed at all he was just there. He taught Lena how to love, and now she will love Julian. We know who Julian is. We didn't know Alex, for all we know he could be a phyco murder.

He saw his girlfriend(?) kissing another guy. I'd be cold too...
I felt that Alex was just another boring, broody, mysterious young adult archetype. There was nothing really unique about him. I liked Julian because there was something more interesting about Lena taking the lead and introducing Julian to her world. Before with Alex, it was just another instance of a girl who changes her opinions and is opened to a new world through a love interest. (It was also irritating how much she relied on him.) This time it was the girl who knew and did more. It was a breath of fresh air.

To be fair we dont know if Alex even wants to be with Lena anymore, or at least not the changed version of her, we know Julian loves Lena for who she IS not for who she WAS, who knows if Alex will feel the same way, and vice versa maybe Alex has become someone completely new as well, im not saying they wont end up together i just think they have a lot to work through and that they would need to fall in love with the people they have become, i think we can all agree on that point at the very least xxx
However, remember when Julian asked Lena who gave her the deliria and he heard her sreaming Alex's name in her sleep? Julian knows how much Alex means to Lena and in Requiem I think he will let Alex have her but he will always be there for her type of guy. Hey maybe he will end up with Hanna XD

True, but I think that maybe he should have thought about how EVERYONE thought he was DEAD, and I don't think that if he loved her, he would want her to sit in a corner and mourn for him her whole life without moving o and loving other things too...IM SO EXCITED for Requiem!!!

He had like two seconds to think about it. I get what ur saying but his natural reaction was 'my life sucks'. Maybe when hes done thinking about it he'll change his mind.
Everyone says we know more about Julian then we do with Alex but after reading the books again. I think we know about the same about both characters. Alex's story: Delirium pg. 227-231, 348-350
Julian's story: Pandemonium pg. 232-237
It's really the same amount the only difference is we saw Julian "grow" but when you think about it Julian was introduced into an entitre different world and way of thinking. Alex however didn't need to grow his character was already developed and instead he was helping Lena and showing her what love is.

And I don't think she knows Julian as well as people are thinking. The time they spent together was tramatic. They don't yet know how they would normally interact, like just hanging out. Julian might just be a completely different person once he's comfortable, or he may be just the same. You don't know at this point.
We KNOW about Alex however, you at least have to give him that. Lena spent MONTHS with him, mostly just hanging out, getting to know each other and growing. They were much more developed as a couple.

As you said we dont know how Julian and Lena will interact and that will be the key to seeing how the relationship will develop in the last book, im not saying Alex and Lena wont want to be together but from experience it's not that esy to just move on with someone who has changed in a lot of dramatic ways and when you yourself have changed also, all we do know is that Julian knows Lena as she is and loves her, we dont know if Alex will thats all im saying xxx

OMG Alex!!!! I felt so bad for him when she didn't even bother looking for him when he "died"... she just... moved on. HOW???? I mean sure I can understand that she got close to Julian... but Alex taught her what love was?? If it wasn't for him she'd be married to Brian Scharff!!!!!! And he "died" for Lena... she barely knows Julian!!!!! I have always loved Alex... and I absolutely hate the love triangle!!!! I have loved him ever since the day he saw her running with Hanna and whispered gray in her ear. I. love. Alex. And. Always. Will.

I loved him from the beginning . She better end up with him. He showed her love . Now for a short time she has shown Julian a glimps of love .
