Sorry all - My internet at home isn't working so I wasn't able to get online to do the final point tally.
Hopefully they'll be able to fix it today, so I'll do it as soon as possible.

I didn't have time to post it last night or before I went to work this morning and am not allowed personal internet access at work. That really bites. Guess maybe I'm done with challenges in this group. Besides, I do not read quickly enough to EVER win one.
I understand not having time to post. I finished 4 books well before the deadline and forgot to post them, but the rules state all points have to be claimed by 11:59pm EST to count, and I'm holding myself to them as well.
All of our challenges are optional - you can participate as you like, but we try to be fair and abide by the rules for everyone.

Gayle wrote: "I didn't have time to post it last night or before I went to work this morning and am not allowed personal internet access at work. That really bites. Guess maybe I'm done with challenges in this..."I probably will never win one of these challenges either Gayle but it doesn't stop me from reading for them or participating in them. For me it's the journey not the destination. I find these challenges are fun and intersting to see the many books that others find. At the moment I am obsessing over which books to include for this go around.
Right, Nancy, sometimes it does not work for me as not many of the books I have planned work for the challenge. This one worked fairly well. But the mini challenges are a way to participate no matter what you are reading and as you said I love seeing what others are reading. Of course, that just adds to my TBRs.
I never really expect to win any of them, particularly since I am usually reading books for other groups and what not, I cannot focus all my reading just to fit with the challenge requirements so I have to just hope the books I will be reading will fit into challenge categories. Which is why I usually prefer the mini-challenges, it is easier with those to fit just about any book into at least a few of the categories. And I live on the West Coast so I really had to bust my butt to get a couple of my books finished up and reported by 9 'o'clock to meet the deadline here.
