I added your books to the list. A little FYI:
Algiers is in Algeria, so that's where that pick ended up. I have Equitorial Guinea under Guinea (but now I'm confused... Equitorial Guinea... Guinea... Guinea-Bissau... somebody help me unravel that!).

You seem to have a great affinity or knowledge of Africa, and I added several countries to the list from your list.

I read Infidel a few years ago, and it has stuck with me, very powerful.

Jenny I made the list of things that needed added As for the Guineas they're all seperate countries in Africa, I know Algiers is Algeria (I just refer to it as such because thats how my father refers to it..) I have an obsession with Africa and plan to travel across it one day and hopefully settle down in Botswana or South Africa.

Actually I deleted the list (I didn't want to seem pushy) but I have it saved I only made it because I had time on my hands. There are infact three seperate Guinea's in Africa (maybe they like the name lol).

Okay, I've added Equitorial Guinea to the list, alphabetically in the E's. Now all three are represented! This entire endeavor has been a lesson in recent geography. I thought I had most of it down, but my geography class was a good 20 years ago, and a lot of the world has changed since then....

I nearly had the same picks for NZ and Netherlands but I already had one for Netherlands and The Whale Rider was too expensive.

So I've added It Rains In February: A Wife's Memoir of Love and Loss by Leila Summers to South Africa because I'll be reading it and My Traitor's Heart: A South African Exile Returns to Face His Country, His Tribe, and His Conscience by Rian Malan

and I've also added Priestess of the Nile by Veronica Scott to Egypt as I'll be reading 2 books for Egypt as well.

I'm really enjoying the journey around the world through books. I think this challenge is just what I needed to sort somethings out in my personal life.

I'm feeling very inspired by two books I've read and one that I am currently reading. so much so that I've decided to get my ESL certification and teach abroad in Africa.
