30.6 The Many Facets Of Earth
Started out by rolling a 3 and 5.
For 3, I read Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl. Involves many different cover-ups - community, familial and individual regarding the main character, Lena (whether her powers will end up evil or good on her upcoming 16th b-day). Her relationship with her only friend & bf also involves some kind of secret upcoming 'fatal attraction' kind of thing to be revealed on the dreaded 16th birthday as well. Also the uncle in the story is a cover up of his own. He is known as some kind of crazy loner as he never leaves the house (until uncovering himself to the community toward the end of the book).
For 4 I read Seriously... I'm Kidding by Ellen DeGeneres. Listed as an autobiography on GR.
Beautiful Creatures was a big book at 563 pages. Both listed authors are also GR authors - not sure if I can use 2 GR author tickets for 1 book? I'm just assuming I can use 1 , which is what shows in my calculations below.

I got 1 heads and 1 tails when I flipped the coin so I read:
What If?: Alternative Views of Twentieth Century Ireland by Diarmuid Ferriter because of its interesting cover featuring some of the most famous people in modern Irish history. I love history and so I loved this cover!

The second book I read was Memoirs of a Radical Lawyer by Michael Mansfield. Which had a cover I thought was boring and so didn't like.
