Ian wrote: "Thanks Patti - as the needle was stuck I'm now listening to Echoes - Pink Floyd"You are just as bad as the rest of us Ian, despite protestations. Just lean back and chill - oh, Echoes, too late.
Still Echoing, but will be going for some Echo and the Bunnymen next and then perhaps some White Rabbits after that. Cassoulet de lapin for tea tonight?? Those brownies that are compulsory when listening to Echoes are jolly good.
Well, I'm going to lower the tone - Handel's Water Music. I walked down the aisle to one of the Bourees so it's special to me. I love 'diddly' music that I can diddle along with. I hope I expressed that meaningfully? I love a good sing when I'm cooking dinner.
June Tabor - AshoreGot it while we were home. First time I've listened to it. She has an amazing voice.
Her rendition of Waltzing Matilda is magic. Always makes me weepy.
Here's the album link

Sorry, yes I am in the car, driving, but I can't answer as I'm in the middle of playing Angry Birds.
Well, I've never heard of that being banned - only texting or talking on the phone whilst driving, no one has mentioned there being anything wrong in playing angry birds!! lol

I sold a hifi system to the lead singer of The Beat. His mother was the nurse in the department store where I weas working at the time. I remember Mirror in the Bathroom well.
Currently listening to the soundtrack from Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. (that's my pseudonym!)
I've been listening to some old Pentangle live on youtube. I'm hoping to do an audio version of my fantasy novel later this fall and would love to find something like this in the public domain or with a creative commons license.House Carpenter, by Pentangle
Guess what Dave just put on? Yep, Pentangle. I like the sitar, but the singer. I don't care for her voice.Amazing how much of Dave's music has sitar in it...

Now, where ARE those ostrich feathers?
Ingnite wrote: "Bugger the ostrich feathers"Well, I thought I had a full collection of perversions. Looks like I'll have to start a new volume just for you Ingnite.

Had to turn the radio off in the car this morning as that pillock Balls was on and I was close to headbutting the windscreen. Listened to Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak instead.Arrived at the office and started listening to Music Bank by Alice in Chains.

I've already said, no-one has any idea what goes on in my head. Just as well, don't you think!
Ian wrote: "Scuse my ignorance Geoff but who is the pillock Balls??"Ed Balls, glorious MP for Morley and Outwood.
I've got That's How You Know from Enchanted playing now. its close but not quite what i'm looking for today. Love it too much to skip it
If I can find where Dave has hidden my iPod, I'm going to crank tunes now and start cookin'. My house help isn't here today, so first I need to clean the kitchen. Sigh.
