Steph, we're ready for our Free Space stamp, finally. :)Free Space
*finished September 5* ★★★★★I was prepared to give this one 4 stars, I really enjoyed it, but there were some parts that lagged a tiny bit for me. That was until I got to the last chapter--it was awesome. :)
I can't say much about this book without giving spoilers, but I was happy to see lots of personal growth for Cassie, although she does still have a tendency to take one step forward and two steps back, but they are thankfully getting few and far between.
But I loved this one, and she killed me with the last chapter--how long until the next one???
And I am going to read
for the Supernatural shelf. I have the arc and it comes out Saturday, so I need to get it read and rated. :)

Definitely love those Mile High Club scenes by her and Nalini. >;)
CONGRATULATIONS, Double Trouble! You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on 'free space'.

Good Job!! :D
Hey Laura. I think you sent this around a while ago, and since I updated it I thought I would share with you, BINGO CARDS_ALL TEAMS
Oops, I see you have it up by your list. Oh, well! You guys are in great shape. I hope paranormal romance or ghosts are not drawn, since I want to keep going at least a bit longer. LOL!
Picked Sin Undone for supernatural shelf. Done 9/6/11 4*I think each book has gotten better and better. Great setup for the next series!
Anyone know how many books are planned for Lords of Deliverance?
Thanks Sherri! I've been slacking on keeping that puppy updated. :) Ya know me, I was just plain nosy and had to see where things stood. I'm really hoping we get a couple of more weeks of reading. Although, I'm cureious to know what the next event is! :-)

If I remember correctly, we went 11 weeks last round. I'm wondering if that would be the average number of weeks for a round of bookshelf bingo. It's almost 3 months. That's a long time. Though, this round feels quicker. :D
Oh....wow. I can't view the doc here at work, but I went looking at the individual bingo cards.Things could really get exciting if Urban Fantasy is called next/soon, because that would mean that Team 1 also needs Paranormal Romance for Bingo. :D

9/5/11 ★★★★Hmmm...give lots of 4 stars...scary.
To the review. Love Cat & Bones and seeing more of their relationship. Lots of things happened in this story~great rapid fire pace. Intriguingly nasty bad guy, and very big challenge on how to get rid of him...with some splendid fights. Though, it was annoying to see some things that Cat didn't seem to notice. I missed some of the banter & seeing more/hearing more from other characters~they were there, but more cameo-like than in the center of things. Still, I really enjoyed this one, and it's a good addition to the series. However, it's not my favorite Cat & Bones story. I want to re-read it though, once RL has settled down (though this story was a VERY nice break from other worries~something I always want from a book!)
Laura Lulu wrote: " That's when things get crazy--bring on the speed reading! Lol. ..."
No kidding. ;)
Judith and Sandra: Disappearing into a book is the best. I love it when I lose all sense of time and I'm surprised how much I've read/have left to read.
I'm done with my book, just don't feel like writing a review for it right now. I didn't love it, but it was an arc, so I have to think a bit about how I want to word my review. And it's my one day off this week, and I just feel like vegging out in front of Frontierville on FB right now. ;)
Ummm Laura --- I was just looking over the Supernatural reads in msg 402...I think Rachel's books are flip-flopped. I only noticed it when I saw Rachel's msg in #412 and realized it wasn't Dreams of a Dark Warrior. I also looked at the master list on the first page...it's flipped there too.
I finished my supernatural book
on 9/9/11 and give it 4*'s. The book lulled a little bit in the middle but started and ended great. It was a nice change of pace to be reading about two existing agents, though from different agencies, rather than have another recruitment story. I was glad to see Annika and Creed's story wrap up, but, I am anxious to see where Dev's story leads in the next book. I always enjoy the ACRO books since they are full of action and seriously hot, a great combo!
Thanks Christina, it's correct in the the most recent one I posted Wednesday (#417), but I never fixed it on the main one on the first page. Oops. ;)When there's a new shelf, I just copy the last one, then paste over the old books with the new ones. But I didn't realize Rachel didn't post what she was reading until she read it, so her last week's book was still on there. :)
Supernatural
*finished September 8* ★★★I didn't love this book, but it was a cute, fast read. I just never loved Megan, our protagonist, and I felt the supporting characters were pretty two-dimensional. I'm big on characterization, so this took something away from the book for me.
Megan starts out pretty annoying. Granted, I could completely understand why she was annoying: she's a teenager, her mom just started dating again, and her two best friends started dating each other. All good and understandable reasons for a teenager to be jealous and snippy, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. :)
She does redeem herself later in the book, so there's that. And the book has some nice twists and turns, and shocks and funny bits, which I'm always a fan of.
I don't know if I'll be in a rush to pick up the next book in the series, but I'm sure I'll read it.

Ming One Grave at a Time
Ming, you mentioned on the 5th that you were done with your book and just needed to write something up--just wanted to remind you. :)
One Grave at a Time finished Sept 5th****
As with Judithe .. not my fav in the series, but a good read. (for more review see above) :-D
Laura - I figured it was a copy/paste thing (I saw post 417, which made me more confused). :)And it looks like stamp time again. :D

LOL...very brief! I scanned up looking for more of your thoughts on it...but couldn't find another post. Did you have a favorite scene?
Heather wrote: "I finished my supernatural book

It was a nice change o..."I've been meaning to start this series for awhile now -- I recently spent my Amazon Rewards point to get the rest of the books. Maybe this will my "Better Late Than Never" series for next year. :D
I will be reading
for fantasy paranormal. I've been wanting to read this, especially now that the group is reading it this month, so this is a great chance to read this one. Christina, it is a fun series, little bit x-men ish so lots of action mixed with steamy romance. I like that you see the same operatives each story and just build on the ACRO agents you read about. They come and go and its fun.
I'm going to have to reread Thea's series at some point. Back-to-back-to-back. Maybe the end of the year after I've had a chance to read #3. Just love that series. :D

Christina, the first four were great, the last one pissed me off a bit--but not enough to not give it 4 stars like I did the others. :)It's just a wonderfully character-centric series. I love the characters. Sometimes I want to smack them upside the head (case in point, book 5), but that just means I care so much. Lol.

That's sounds like the way I feel about family "I love them, but they're....argh!" :)
Finished Warrior Rising 9/15 4*Another good, solid read in her Goddess Summoning series. Love this series. Unfortunately this series is not her focus right now.
I finished
on 9/15/11 and give it 5*'s. I was worried when I started this book that it had been built up too much and that it could never live up to the high expectations I had. Everyone loves this book and I have to say I agree. This book was wonderfully written. There was great balance between the action, character building, and romance. The interaction between Pia, Dragos and the sentinals, especially Graydon, was incredibly fun to read. I look forward to reading the next book!
