Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments Our first shelf is here!
Time to start R3 of BSB!

Our First Shelf is: '4 stars'
DIRECT LINK: '4 stars'

Happy Reading!

Christina (AKA Babbling) (babblingbookreviews) | 1242 comments Yay!

My pick is Kiss of Midnight (Midnight Breed, #1) by Lara Adrian

Heather ~ Marceline | 1017 comments I'll be reading Riding the Storm (ACRO, #1) by Sydney Croft . I still need to get that started for my HDOS challenge read for this week.

message 80: by Laura Lulu (new)

Laura Lulu (lauralulu) | 1603 comments Yay! A nice easy shelf to start us off. :)

I'm going to read Ultraviolet by R.J. Anderson

message 81: by Laura Lulu (new)

Laura Lulu (lauralulu) | 1603 comments And S&S--quit messin' with our stuff! Hmpf.

message 82: by Ming (new)

Ming | 247 comments So, how many pages do I have to go through to find a book I haven't read that I would want to read ...

Cindy (eclecticfirefly) (eclecticfirefly) | 1237 comments Ming - just start at the back..... See, if you were an average reader (like me) you could have found 75 TBR books to read from this shelf in just the first 20 or so pages! :)

message 84: by Ming (last edited Jul 23, 2011 03:10PM) (new)

Ming | 247 comments I have about 5 UF books on my TBR and few more PNR. Well plus whatever comes out on Tuesday. I'm not a fan of YA, so lots of the Paranormal Series books on the list that I haven't read are YA.

Gee ya'd think the new Jim Butcher would be on the list.

message 85: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments Ming, if you have a book you want to read, you can follow hints on how to check for a specific book here.

LOL! You're well stocked! Thinkin' it's not Double Trouble that's the problem here...just all those folks comin' in to try and distract us...

J/K!

message 87: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments Hooray for the shelf announcement!

Now for my books ...
'4 stars' No Mercy (Dark-Hunter, #19) (Were-Hunter, #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon freespace Firewalker (Stormwalker, #2) by Allyson James

Off to enjoy some reading!

message 88: by Ming (new)

Ming | 247 comments TY Sweetie. It was faster but nothing so far. None of my UF( even the ones coming out this week) Have checked 1/2 the PNR as well. Will keep checking.

message 89: by Rachel-RN (new)

Rachel-RN (rachelgoodbyeborders) | 1368 comments I've been wanting to read Unlocked (Turner, #1.5) by Courtney Milan for about a month now.
Freespace- pending

message 90: by Laura Lulu (last edited Jul 23, 2011 06:58PM) (new)

Laura Lulu (lauralulu) | 1603 comments Ming, this shelf should actually be easier for you since it's just books people shelved as 4 star reads, so there's no paranormal requirement. But you may have a harder time with some of the other shelves...

And the reason new releases might not be on this particular shelf is because this is a shelf people only use after they've read a book. I have some arcs that I need to read and I ran into the same problem trying to find them on this shelf. But it makes sense--if a book isn't out yet, there's not going to be many people who have read it yet and then shelved it as "4 stars". ;)

message 91: by Ming (new)

Ming | 247 comments Ok, I might have some mysteries then

message 92: by Rachel-RN (new)

Rachel-RN (rachelgoodbyeborders) | 1368 comments It sucks that we could only use "4 stars" vs "4-stars" I found a lot using that variant.
Free space will be easy, got so many choices...

message 93: by Ming (new)

Ming | 247 comments I found a few with the 4-stars as well

none of my mysteries match yet.

message 94: by Ming (new)

Ming | 247 comments I could read

Horton Hears a Who! (Paperback)
by Dr. Seuss (shelved 1 time as 4-stars)

Rachel, they should be the same, since goodreads automatically adds that dash, so technically, there are no shelves with spaces between words, only dashes.

Are you sure you're looking in the right place? Because the shelf Steph posted the link to up in #77 has over 6200 books and 124 pages--that's one of the biggest shelves we've ever had in Bingo.

message 96: by Ming (new)

Ming | 247 comments Sadly they are different shelves:
4 Stars
and
4-stars

Can you guys give me a link to the "4 stars" shelf you're talking about?

If I make a shelf called "4 Stars", goodreads automatically makes it "4-stars". There are no shelves with spaces between words.

message 99: by Ming (new)

Ming | 247 comments I'm calling it a day looking for a book .. my eyes hurt from the scrolling.

Sadly I think I read old horton a few years back

well quite a few years back

but it is looking like a kids books for me.

message 100: by Laura Lulu (new)

Laura Lulu (lauralulu) | 1603 comments Here, go to this link:

http://www.goodreads.com/shelf

And type in both "4 stars" and "4-stars". You'll get the exact same results, because they are the exact same shelf. :)
