jace as a character is so powerful that no matter who plays him the presence he will have on screen won't matter who is actually playing him

I don't really like Jamie, but I love Jace, so it'll be interesting to see if Jamie can win me over

yep its fanmade. The mortal instruments movie has not been fully casted yet, and they wont start filming till january, so they haven't released any pictures yet!

Jace is not just a pretty face. He is sarcastic and is enduring a painful life with his previous life and his relationship with Clary. Jamie might not as good looking as Jace but he is trying his best to play Jace. Jamie is aware of the high expectancy from Mortal Instruments fans and does not want to let us down. I wish Jamie and the movie all the best.
alex pettyfer looks way better
i have a hard tim e seeing him with blonde hair.. i know it says he's a blondie but still
lol, but give him a chance!:) I know I wish Alex would of done it, but that is his problem and it is a big commitment! So it is alot of pressure! I think Jamie will do fine! I loved him in Sweedy Todd! I thought he was great, and even though he wasn't the best looking person for the role I think everyone loved how well he played the part!
Alex Pettyfer hands down would have been better WITHOUT any alteration but I guess maybe in the end the will make him look more badass-ey. I saw the big difference in whatever twilight movie he was in & his new Shakespeare movie so hopefully here too they can get him to look like Jace as much as possible.By the way those eyes need to go, they're creepy more then pretty... it reminds me of Edward from Twilight.
ok...wen i found out Jamie Campbell Bower was gonna b Jace instead of Alex Pettyfer i was like wat the????!!!! i rkn Alex does act realy good and he is wat i had pictured as Jace in my head...or at least really close.... but Jamie....wow...thats just stretching it...but they do have photoshop so he might b able to look more like the Jace i rkn we all have in our head...
Man!! That just ruins it.... He is soooo not attractive enough. Not at all how I pictured him. Those eyes totally throw me off. They are so weird looking... all golden like that.
Ladies....Alex Pettyfer said No to Jace role. Why would we expect someone who is not even interested in our beloved character to play him? We need to stop grumbling and face the fact that Jamie is Jace.
i know....but hes just not right for it!!!
we can really only have an opinion when the trailer comes out as it will show us how everything will come together and whether jamie is good enough. until then basing on looks is not helping anyone.

I think that once the movie is made and we see Jamie as Jace it will be like he was made for the movie. They usually do pretty good matching up.

I hope so! I always liked Alex Pettyfer for Jace, but I gotta roll with the punches. I hope Jamie can pull this off, but for me Alex will always be my Jace.

My heart broke inside when i saw this post . Please pleaase please dont let this be another twilight. i will cry if this movie ruins the books for me like it ruined twilight for me ! nd btw eww noo deff not a good jace.
