Apparently this is what our Jace Wayland is supposed to look like!
SOLUTION: WATCH A CLIP OF "CAMELOT".Watch it and find out whether or not you like him. Then you'll have a solid answer of "yes, I like him" or "no, I don not like him!".
I personally think he will be great (if he builds some muscle!) ;)

JAMIE is so perfect for the role :D he just needs to hit the gym, that's all. and it's Alex's fault he turned down the role. So stop hating JAMIE, he's really good.

no this is definitely not how i imagined jace to look like... alex pettyfer would be alot better looking for the part
ok at first when i started reading this series i thought that Alex Pettyfer would be perfect for the cast of Jace. But then i started watching his movies and although he may be beautiful, he really cannot act! I hope that Jamie does really good in this role and blows everyone away. When i first saw who they picked, i was like WHAT but i think he's growing on me. I think he'll do just fine!!

They should totally release it to get the fans reved up for the film (not that we aren't already).
Maybe Jamee's acting is perfect for the movie and Alex's looks are perfect for the movie. Can we just combine them haha into one for the movie

I think not.I'm willing to give this guy a shot, but from what I've seen of him, he would not make a good Jace (in my opinion).
i really dont mean to be mean, but yeah, alex is more like jace. this guy has a triangle kinda face. it going to ruin the character in the book as well as the amount of fans and success the movies would have had.

I just finished watching "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" and BENJAMINE STONE's role was also a mysterious guy and I was just like :"is this JACE? yes! IT'S JACE!" and he even posted a twitpic about portraying JACE. so, I want Ben Stone!!!! :D

I personally dont see Jace the way Jamie looks right now, however if Claire saw his audtion and said thats my Jace then I am on board. Like Shivani said, Look at Pattinson he parties in dumpy bars drinking, not shaving, and smoking but the man can act and pulled Edward out of him.
The other problem with Pettyfer, now don't kill me because I liked him for Jace too, but, he is too old, he looks to manly now he can't pass for a teenager.And yeah that first pic of Jamie is terrible for trying to portray Jace.

Exactly! I was hoping and thinking Jace would look like Alex but it isnt going to change the movies theme or anything important. We couldnt see what Jace looked like in the Book anyway.

@Veronica, he's got that boyishly handsome thing going on for me, but I bet he will be even better as Jace because he is a great actor.

I'll still think of him as the main actor in an adult series so it'll be interesting to see how I think of him as I'm watching the movies... haha.
I am undecided over whether I would like him to play Jace. I do have to comment though that from the first picture, that is how I imagined Jace to have his hair - random statement, but true. I don't know much on his acting, so really that is the decision breaker between whether he will do Jace justice. Although the second photo in message 24 gives the personality and appearance I imagined of "my" mental Jace. I don't know - it's a tough call. I originally thought that Alex Pettyfer had the role, I mean that was the rumour going around. Really I can't see either playing Jace so I am not much help - I have to see it visually (the movie) before I can comment any further...=)
