Finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I really enjoyed it.Started On Writing on the commute home (light rail) yesterday. I actually laughed out loud a couple of times.
I am reading I Am Not a Serial Killer by Dan Wells, it's pretty interesting and a real page-turner. This is my first horror book.
I am almost finished with Warm Bodies and digging into The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club.
Gitte, I very much enjoyed "Slammerkin" when I read it a couple of years ago. Such a tragic story. Also loved "The Giver". Glad you are enjoying them.

I am a little way into The Book of Tomorrow. I am not sure I will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed the other books this author has written.
I just finished Nowhere To Go by Iain Rowan on my nook and reviewed it here: http://wp.me/p1CKWU-3D.I'm finishing up "The Devil Colony" by James Rollins. Up next on the nook is
.
I finished The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot and next will start The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun by Gretchen Rubin.

I finished The Giver and really liked it! Will definitely read the next two! Have you read them?
I am reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. It's #2 in The Hunger Games trilogy. After that- Ahab's Wife

I finished [book:The Giver|3...
Yes, I liked "Gathering Blue" and "Messenger" was ok. "The Giver" was the best imo.
I am still on "The Devil Colony" by James Rollins. Up next on the nook is
.I just finished
for review considerations and posted it here: http://wp.me/p1CKWU-4e.
Started The Cricket on the Hearth , but ...well nothing really to say as for now I don't have a clue why I am reading it.
Finished Notes from an Exhibitionand loved it. Bought it because of te cover and title and it was so good to judge a book by its cover!
I am reading
,
, and
. Island Girl is pretty good. Not far enough along in the other two to comment. Also MP3ing Save Me by Lisa Scottoline. Interesting subject (alot of bullying on many levels), but have to say I don't understand the actions of some of the characters in the storyline. Seems to be a really rough world out there for kids and parents today. So harsh that I find myself wanting to talk back to some of them.
Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill was on a few of the spooky lists posted in the group so I decided to give it a go. So far i'm impressed!
Patricia wrote: "I finished The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot and next will start The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Clos..."</i>The Happiness Project is a very interesting idea. I liked the book, but like the author said, everyone's project is their own. So, I had some difficulty relating to the author's goals. Would be interested to hear what you think when you are finished!
Right now I am reading [book:A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. I felt the beginning was very slow, now 100 pages from the end, I feel it is finally starting to get really good. Hope the ending doesn't disappoint.
Reading The Emperor's Tomb which I am about 2/3 of the way through and today I started The Autobiography of Mrs. Tom Thumb: A Novel and an audiobook of Pride and Prejudice.Pride and Prejudice was the only one from my TBR List.
Rayna wrote: "That's impressive. I've only really read short stories in Italian. That, and half of a giallo."Thanks Rayna. I am used to it so it is ok for me.
Mafalda wrote: "I'm reading

I am currently reading:- St. Augustine's Confessions. Saint Augustine (finally started reading it more steadily these past few days rather than a few pages here and there)
- Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov (at long last I've cracked it open)
- Scott Lynch's The Lies of Locke Lamora (I'm actually re-reading it; it's been a long time and I was in the mood for a good fantasy)
I just finished The Shield that Fell from Heaven and wasn't all that thrilled with it. I'm moving on now to A Reluctant Queen: The Love Story of Esther and also Tiger's Curse
I picked at random a book from my Kindle, that I got for free some time ago: Genghis: Birth of an Empire. It's really good, and I enjoy it a lot. It seems this is a series, so I'll probably get the next one(s) too.
Jennifer wrote: "Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill was on a few of the spooky lists posted in the group so I decided to give it a go. So far i'm impressed!"Heart-Shaped Box was good but I thought Horns was even better.

Mafalda wrote: "I'm reading
