Go, Maude!
I'm not participating in this challenge, but have been lurking to see what everyone is reading and I just have to say: Maude, you rock!! No wonder you wanted to read more and count points less! Great job.
Thank you, Holly and JenC! I have been reading, for the most part, books I have owned for some time but never read - most were good reads. I also like just reading books with 200-300 pages and only for one month. It is my favorite challenge so far!
I have read 9 books for this challenge before and that is more than I read ever in one month and the month isn't over yet.

Thanks Becky.....I was unsure about that one as the main character is 12, but she has been 12 a long time. BUT then again she does act 12 at times as well. I edited my post to make it 7 points now! Woohoo a whole 7 points.....I am way behind the rest of you, but I did start Cold Sassy Tree last night.
HEHEHE....sorry Becky...I was a bit confused. OH YES, he is 12 as well. *shrug* sometimes my mind wanders quite a bit and I lose track.....oh look a turtle :)

Heather, I have been trying to find the cover of my book but can't even find it on amazon or google. Even the isbn nummer gives the wrong cover. Let me know if it would count for an extra point or not. My bookcover is black and white, the lower part black and the upper part white with grass and flowers. Does this count for book cover grass? If not because i cannot show the actually cover, please ignore it then. I won't add the point till you tell me to.
points: 10 points
total points: 32+10= 42 points
Jeane, I am sort of sticking my oar in here but if Heather can't find your book, maybe you could use the current one - there is grass, water and a boat - more points - but you would have to clear it with her.
Whew Jeane... gotta make it difficult, don'tcha?! LOL
I'll leave that one up to Jackie, since the rules for that category do say that the cover must be for the edition you read. I just searched and I couldn't find it either.
