Part A-Scent of the Missing: Love and Partnership with a Search and Rescue Dog by Susannah Charleson - I would love to get into volunteering with animals at a shelter. This book is about training a search and rescue dog. A little drawn out but the ending made up for it.
Part B- Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne. It's not clear in the description but the main character travels with his servant Passepartout.

From the Bottom Up: One Man's Crusade to Clean America's Rivers by Chad Pregracke (Protecting the natural environment – ecologists, environmental activists)
When Chad Pregracke first started on his crusade to clean up the Mississippi River I thought he was some sort of hippie tree hugger, but after several years of watching and participating in his cause I want to say that he is the real deal. More of us should have the passion for our environment that Chad Pregracke has. If you are interested in learning more here is a link to his website. http://www.livinglandsandwaters.org/A...

15.4 -- It's a Repeat

A. Read one book with a word in the title that repeats
Times Square Red, Times Square Blue by Samuel R. Delany
I wouldn’t have read this except the blurb talked about urban planning and the revitalization of Times Square. I’m a planner, so I thought this would be right up my alley. Alas, much of it focused on the “BEFORE” parts of the Times Square revitalization – specifically the activities in the many movie theaters. It was, um, interesting. On the other hand, I did learn that a “fish” is a woman in gay terminology. That said, it was a well-written set of essays from a viewpoint I hadn’t considered.

I wish I would have known you were reading it. It's for my cultural studies lit class about space and subcultures-and my teacher told me what it was about, I would have warned you.
Either way, I am glad you at least found it interesting and well written (I have to read through the first part tonight for class tomorrow and I am enjoying it so far, also finding it very well written).
