REPOST:
Task 20.9. Lucky Me! Laurie's Task
Witch Way to Murder - Ophelia Abby 1 by Shirley Damsgaard
Note: I previously used 'Perfume' but I will be allocating that book with another task and will post that task as soon as I've read the other book required

Task 5.5 I'm Tellin':
Sister Carrie by Theodore Dreiser
580 pages Claiming big book ticket
Total this post: 25 points
Total to date: 460 points

Task 5.1 (word from a dance) I read Drop Shot by Harlan Coben. On the link there is a dance called "Pop, Lock, and Drop It" (hip hop)
Task 20.7 (quips and quotes) My favorite quote is from Eleanor Rosevelt: Tis' better to live your own life imperfectly than to imitate someone else's perfectly. (OK, Goodreads attributes this quote to Elizabeth Gilbert, but I am sure it is Eleanor Rosevelt!!). Anyway, I love the quote and I read The Reversal by Michael Connelly wherein our hero, the Lincoln Lawyer, crosses the aisle and works as a Prosecutor. He's still a Defense Attorney at heart, though ;)
Task 30.3
Part A. (Yours, Mine or My or Our(s) in Title) I read My Nest Isn't Empty, It Just Has More Closet Space: The Amazing Adventures of an Ordinary Woman by Lisa Scottoline
Part B. (blended family) I read The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly wherein the two main characters are half-brothers.
