What are you reading right now?
@bethany: i just finished defiance today!! loved loved looooved it!!!!!! graves or chris? @ted: the gone series is one of my favourite!! some people think it gets repetitive but i don't know, i really like it.
I'm reading Solitary. I want to start Bumped, but it has a later return date. So Solitary is more pressing. :)
The Reapers Are the Angels is what I've just started reading and I have to say I REALLY enjoy it! The writing style is interesting and has lots of imagery. The main character has a powerful voice and is exceptionally complex, both likeable and not at the same time in the oddest way. I really hope that it continues to be good.
Solitary is sooo grim. It is such a great premise for a book, and well executed. I'm kinda curious what anyone else has thought of the series, it's different, but I'm not sure if I liked it. It is rememberable however. I passed up Incarceron to read the Furnace series, well the first three books. Not sure if I made the right choice actually.
Incarceron is pretty interesting and, at times, very intense. All in all it was a pretty good book...I've yet to read the sequel tho, so I don't know if it gets better or not.
Nichola wrote: "I have Matched but didn't start it yet. Is it really the bad?"i actually liked it.. it was not my fav just because i like a little bit more action in my books and i did not have much but it was still good and i am waiting for the 2nd book to come out
I am reading Ashes, Ashes by Jo Treggiari. I have about three and a half chapters left. I'm not really enjoying it but once I start a book I try my best to finish it.
Marissa wrote: "Nichola wrote: "I have Matched but didn't start it yet. Im going to pick up the second one.
I'm reading Hounded by Kevin Hearne, Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore, and Razor Girl by Mari Mancusi
I just finished
, which was an amazing, well written novel. I loved it.Started
...Amy!!! look..I'm reading it!! And I absolutely love it so far. It's got me laughing and smiling a lot....and it's waaaaayyyy better than the movie ;)
I just finished
It was great! Can't wait for the next one!Now I'm on to
I can't wait for these movies to come out! I'm psyched!
Just finished
...and they were all fantastic! Not sure what to read next...I think I might give Sapphique another try, couldn't get into it last time...we'll see :)
Just finished the last "Chaos Walking Trilogy" book and started
this morning. I'm liking it so far. After this I'm finally going to start
. I know, I know, it's crazy that I haven't read it, but I wanted some of the hype to die down first. Usually I'm in front of the trends, but this one snuck past me.
Teresa wrote: "Just finished the last "Chaos Walking Trilogy" book and started

Okie- I love Across the Universe. I hope your really enjoy it. It was one of my favorites so far this year :)
Ok so I finished
. It was awesome! Some of the reviews mention it's like Across the Universe and I agree that there are similarities in the setting but its a totally different story. Its hard to decide which one I like better but I think I am leaning more towards Glow. Also, finished
. Good fast-paced simple zombie story line. Now reading
and then
. Unwind is awesome so far!
I just finished
,
, and
. I really wasn't that excited about the first book, but the series got better with each book. I'm really glad I stuck with the series. Can't wait for the next in the series, The Shade of the Moon. The series is very realistic on how life can deteriorate and the choices people have to make.
Andrew wrote: "Ok so I finished

And I'm stoked that you're reading Unwind...such a great book!
YOU GUYS! I have so many to read. :( Quit making me add things to my TBR list!!!!!!! I just finished up the corny Mercy Falls Wolves books while I was on vacation. Don't judge. LOL!

You crack me up!!! And I love the Mercy Falls series!!! Sam and Cole are two of my all time favorite book characters.
I just picked these up from the library.
Not sure what I'm gonna start first, but I'm excited about the Red Pyramid so maybe that one.
Amy wrote: "So at the moment, I'm almost done reading:

anyone heard of it? It's pretty interesting, and the action is great."
I loved this book! It was a bit of a surprise how much I liked it.

Ship Breaker and The Windup Girl have definitely been on my to read list after reading Pump Six and Other Stories. I heard Bacigalupi was a good writer and wanted to look at his stuff. It was a great place to start. His writing is impressive, very good. I almost went with Ship Breaker for the Sept. book read nominations actually.
I loved Ship Breaker! I had passed it over a few times but I am so glad I finally read it, can't wait for the next one!!
Okie wrote: "Reading Rebirth by Sophie Littlefield"I loved that series. I read Rebirth in less than a day.
Im a huge fan of Sophie Littlefield! I finished Rebirth this afternoon. I can't believe what happened!! But I guess Cass had to do what she had to do, huh? I can't wait for book 3, Lauren.
just finished
and now i am starting to read
oh and i just finished
and
and both were really good and so was Eden that book was amazing :D
I am reading
and
. I have way too many books that I want to read right now and seeing all the books that everyone else is reading is just making my list longer :)
I've started
and am having a hard time getting into it. I know some of you have raved about it...I want to like it. Convince me to continue reading - please! :)

Alli wrote: "Seriously cannot wait to read Eden or Blood Red Road! are they worth buying?"I don't know about Blood red road, haven't read it yet. But, Eden is definietly worth buying :)
I'm just about done with
and it's great. I have
on hold at the library, so I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow and probably spend my Saturday finishing the series :(I've also started
. It's pretty good so far. I haven't really become hooked yet like I did with P.J. But, I really enjoy Rick Riordan's writing and storytelling so I'm hopeful that I'll love this series too.
was awesome! Very action-packed. While similar to Across the Universe (space ship with a group to populate a new Earth), the action/enemies don't come from within. Much more action, where ATU is more suspense/thriller.
Anne wrote: "I've started

I actually finished The Windup Girl but it took me forever and was definitely not one of my favorite books. I picked it up because I loved Shipbreaker, but thought Windup Girl was tedious and just too many competing storylines. If you are not loving it go ahead and move on to something else! :)
Boo hoo...I finished The Last Olympian. I'm happy, but sad as well. That was a truly amazing, well written series. And I really want to go get
, but I kinda want to wait a few years til all the books are out. I'm so torn :(
just finishedDeliriumit was super good!!!!! i cant wait till the second book comes out.....i almost died at the end though!!!! Alex is defiently one of my favorite guys in a book he kinda is up there in my top ten lol with Peeta from the The Hunger Gamesso if something happens to himi think i might actually jump off a cliff or something lol
L'Enquête is simply brilliant. I wish they'd translated it in English yet so everybody could read it.
@Marissa; you'll hafta share peeta with me because i just adore him. have you read the whole series? (and as you should know, i hate that their making The Hunger Games into a movie. Hate hate hate it.)
I just finished the first book in the Study series.
The first book was sooooo good! I can't believe more people don't talk about this series. It's not dystopian, it's fantasy, but it was absolutely amazing and had all the elements that make a great fantasy novel. If you haven't checked it out, I strongly suggest that you do!!
Alli, I Loved Blood Red Road! Lots of action, def worth buying. I can't wait for book 2. Idk about Eden, I'm planning on starting that one this week.
Bethany, I read The Poison Study series earlier in the year, Fantastic series! I haven't picked up her Glass series, I'm gonna wait on that one for a rainy day.
