I am going to read The Wanderer for The Promise. I have never read a book by Robyn Carr so I am excited to try one.
Red & Wolfe, Part I is also free on Amazon if you would like to read the first in the series instead of the third that is listed. Just remember that it will only count in the case of a tie breaker :)
I am currently reading Fanning the Flames
and loving it! What a refreshing change to read about a couple in their 40s (my age range!). It's funny and very sexy. I've never read anything by Victoria Dahl before, but I plan to read more :)
It was short and I finished Fanning the Flames
today 7/15. Great short story, looking forward to more in the series. 4*
I finished
today. I thought it was really cute. I like reading books with older main characters in them, probably because I'm getting up there myself. I really wish this had been longer, but it definitely got me interested enough to check out both of series connected to this story. *4 STARS*Hey, Fran, I think we're book stalking each other! LOL

LOL!
Random Book List #194I finished reading Fanning the Flames by Victoria Dahl. I gave it *****, I really liked the characters and the storyline. It was super steamy, I will definately check out the rest of the series!
Currently listening to Starting
on audio and I think KA doesn't agree with me. Her heroines make me roll my eyes

but i have promised to read book 2 and 3 because people claim book 1 was the weakest in the series.
That book was barely a 3-star, barely!

Finished reading
and
this weekend. Both were quick, sweet reads while I'm suffering from a cold. 4 stars each.
I read
on 23 August. I read it for the BDSM portion of the Tournament. I can't say it is a mainstream BDSM novel though it did have certain elements. On the whole, an ok contemporary book. 2 stars

starts with a girl who breaks up with her boyfriend and he retaliates by posting her intimate pictures on social media. I am a mom, and I was thinking if that happened to my daughter, y'all might need bail money to get me out of jail. Anyway, my other thought was "why do you take them" so I am trying NOT to blame the victim here.
I finished
on 9/11/14, and I thought it was adorable. Probably not the words you'd expect me to use with a MMA fighter as the hero but it's true. I am going to continue this series because I loved the secondary characters just as much as the H/h in this book. *4 STARS*Elle Kennedy seems to be one of those authors that just make stories work for me. I'm pretty sure out of all of the books I read by her, she hasn't let me down once.
Random Book List #199I finished reading One Night of Sin by Elle Kennedy and I gave it ***. This book was pretty steamy, and I enjoyed it. Other than that it was ok. Enjoyable but not memorable in any way.

That was my reaction too, like "Why?" but no one said squat to the guy. He got the opposite, "oh man, she's got great tits...I'd bang her". He got Hi-fives.
No fair!
Okay, I just finished
and I gave it ★★★. I liked it less than book 1. It went from REvenge porn into this angsty save the bad boy from his f'd up family drama story. The amount of time on the main issue of Revenge porn as 10%. I was a tad disappointed with the heroine

Yz,
is due out the on the 23rd. Does it still count for this list? I double checked since the Goodreads page says it was first published last month, but that was a 11 chapter sampler. Thought I'd double check before I pick.
I think since books from this list should be read starting from September 23rd, that it's not a problem. But that's just me. :)
Dragana wrote: "I think since books from this list should be read starting from September 23rd, that it's not a problem. But that's just me. :)"That's kind of what I'm expecting the answer to be, but I wanted to make sure one way or the other before deciding on a book.
Dragana wrote: "I think since books from this list should be read starting from September 23rd, that it's not a problem. But that's just me. :)"I didn't realize that its release date is the 23rd, but since that is the day the challenge begins, I think I will let it stand.
Fran wrote: "Wildcard: Volume One
is free right now on Amazon."Cool. *Heading to Amazon to pick up the freebie.*
Yz the Whyz wrote: "I didn't realized that its release date is the 23rd..."That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure. Oddly, I'm not sure which book to read for this one. I'm torn between three of them. It's going to depend on what I want to read when the time comes and if The Homecoming is available at the library.
One (or more?) of these
Same here. I can't decide what book to read for this list, although I got the freebie one that Fran mentioned.
I like the sound of A Little Something Different
but my library doesn't have it. I inter-library ordered it, but if it doesn't come in time, I am going with the freebie, Wildcard: Volume One.
Yz the Whyz wrote: "Same here. I can't decide what book to read for this list, although I got the freebie one that Fran mentioned."Glad to know I'm not the only one having that "problem" :)
I started reading the freebie,
since it is the one I have at hand, and I was surprised how easy a read it is. Almost done with it, but dreading the 'expected' cliffhanger ending (since it is part of a trilogy, I sort of expect that).
I finished A Little Something Different
last night 10/5. I really enjoyed this sweet book. It was unique to watch two people's relationship (or non-relationship) unfold from 14 different perspectives. 4*
